Close to the beach, a short drive from pretty Yarmouth and not far from the iconic Needles, Escape Away is the perfect luxury retreat to base yourself for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Near Colwell Bay and only a brief walk to the beach, stay in comfort, relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy time in your private hot tub.

From the private parking space, enter through the gate and along the garden path to the front door. Step inside to find stylish open plan living with every comfort you could need at the end of a busy day exploring or a day relaxing on the nearby sandy beach. Pour yourself a cuppa and spend quality time catching up with your loved ones sitting on the comfy sofa or outside in the enclosed garden space. On warmer evenings open up the doors and bring the outside in, what a wonderful spot to plan your next days island adventure.

From the hallway you will find the stunning double bedroom complete with TV; cosy up with breakfast in bed and lie in, that is one of the joys of being on holiday! The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and is great for children but also comfortable for the adults in the party. With the shower-room just across the hall, you have everything you need close by.

For those looking to accommodate larger parties, Driftwood (5613) is situated next door to Escape Away and also sleeps four, providing a great opportunity for both holiday homes to be booked together.

Mrs Lesslie

An excellent cottage with everything we wanted for a week.

Mrs Hugman

We had a lovely week at Escape Away and enjoyed our stay on the Isle of Wight. It was good to have an allocated parking space and we really loved being surrounded by the secluded garden. The cottage was clean and bright, beds were very comfortable and we found every household item we needed. Would stay there again! Thank you!

Mrs Limbert

My husband has limited mobility and we chose this cottage with that in mind. It did not disappoint. It had extra facilities to make our stay easier i.e. Dishwasher and washing machine, which meant we had more time to explore this lovely island with the added bonus of a hot tub which helped us unwind at the end of a long day. The location was ideal with a short walk or in our case drive to the beach and lovely restaurants. What more can you ask. The week went too quickly and was sad to leave our little bolt hole.

Miss Dodds

The cottage was spotlessly cleaned. The house keeping team went out of their way to make sure the birthday boy felt welcome and special on arrival. Someone has obviously spent a long time choosing the decor for the property it is stunning. The property has a really large enclosed garden which is perfect for the dogs to run around in while you relax in the hot tub. Lovely location. Some dog friendly bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. If you fancy a longer walk there is a footpath to Yarmouth which is about an hour walk for more choice of places to eat and drink. If you are travelling with dogs there is a good rechargeable hoover which means you can clean up any stray sand that comes in on the dogs. If you are tall and travelling as a couple ask them to make up the king size bed. It would be useful to have a short hose pipe attached to the outside tap to wash the dogs paws with before you let them in the cottage. A retractable washing line would also be a useful addition so that you can dry and air doggy towels after a trip to the beach.

Ms Devlin

We booked very last minute for a five night stay. This stylish property is comfortable and very well equipped. It is a short drive from the ferry and in a quiet area. It has a really nice garden space. There is a short walk to the seafront which has places to eat and drink and swim.

Ms Woodman

The escape cottage is a gorgeous little place in a wonderful location. It has a very high quality feel and very cosy! My friend that came for only a couple of days said that she will go back with her husband and dog for definite. I will definitely go back as I was really impressed with everything and my dog had the best time here. Thanks. Lisa and Wookie.
