This impressive five bedroom house is located on Ducie Avenue, a charming unmade road leading to the beach, in the village of Bembridge. Located within a few minutes walk of the local shops, which include a fishmonger, butcher and bakery, everything can be found right on your doorstep for the ideal holiday on this idyllic holiday isle. Saunter down to the water's edge in the morning for a dip in the sea or a walk along the beach, tide permitting, to admire Bembridge Lifeboat Station.
Redworth offers luxury accommodation both inside and out, all the spaces have been thoughtfully finished and with different living spaces it's a great house to relax and enjoy a holiday by the sea. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, the bunk bedroom has an additional single bed so the younger ones can all be together as a holiday treat. The second bedroom on this floor is a king-sized double with doors that open out to the rear garden. A spacious dual-access wet-room connects them both. A snug/games-room, also located on the ground floor, complete with television and Wii console gives the kids their own space.
The stunning open plan kitchen/dining-room and sitting-room are the heart of the house, perfect for leisurely family mealtimes, with doors at both ends of the room opening out to the enclosed garden so that you can make use of the whole space. The cosy sitting-room has a wood-burner for the cooler evenings, so you can sit back and switch off with a good book. The garden has been planned and laid out as an outdoor extension to the living space. There is a large outdoor dining-table for your al fresco mealtimes and outdoor sofas positioned around a fire-pit. Mr Just
Redworth is a superb property in which the owner has thought of everything to make a family holiday special there was 10 of us in our family with the age range from 9 to 64 the rooms was spacious and comfortable the pool table was in constant use as well as the table tennis table our evenings were enhanced by the use of the fire pit, there is also a barbecue for use. There are local shops in the village and the beach at the bottom off the drive which are walking distance, all in all this property can not be faulted The Just family Stayed 10/08/2024 for 7 days
Mr Butler
Smashing modern large 5 bed+ house with private rear spaces. Top-end fit-out facilities and furnishings up and down; also lounging/dining/barbecue/table-tennis outside;----- only few minutes/yards to compact lovely Bembridge shops/cafe/bar---- everything campers and gourmets cherish! ----bakers, butcher, crabs, lobsters, 'drinks' from 5 -50, amazing 'maze' co-op! from house down the private gravel lane to walking beach a bridge ( and 50 steps) too far for some of us (it's the coming up again that hurts!); but ----only ten mins in car down to the sands and sea, or up to the high trig point and heavy guns redoubts on the cliff and spectacular views. Unanimous wisdom judgements of our 8 over 80's group in first week of mixed April weather was that Redworth, Bembridge, and IoW score nearly 11 out of 10 !---- & made a great birthday party
Mr Blake
A truly lovely house, would highly recommend. We used all 5 bedrooms and everyone was very comfortable. The pool table room was very popular too! The beach and village being so close was a real bonus and the eateries in the village were of a very high standard, especially Framptons! If we go back to the IOW guess where we will want to stay?!
Mrs Sale
Fantastic house in lovely location, handy for village and beach. Plenty of room for our party of 11, ranging in age from 3 to 66. Very well equipped and beautifully clean. Would highly recommend.
Mr Pallent
Great location, well appointed, somewhere to relax.
Mrs Dickson
Wonderful house for a family gathering - it had everything we needed and more. Particularly enjoyed the easy access to the beach, walks and shops. The Isle of Wight is always wonderful!
Mrs Wilson
A beautiful, well kept and clean property. Exactly as the photos depicted. The kitchen has more than enough equipment to cook meals for all eleven of us. The bedroom layouts are well designed and fitted our requirements exactly. It is ideally situated, almost in the centre of Bembridge village and just a few hundred yards and some steps from the delightful pebble and sand beach. The village has shops for everyday needs, and there is a superstore about five miles away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redworth and firmly recommend.
Mrs Tompkins
Redworth is a very modern house which is situated on a no through road, about a 5 min walk to the beach ( not so good for getting pushchairs down the steps to the beach, unfortunately) and a few minute walk to the village shops too. The house is very nice and spacious with 5 good sized bedrooms, although the lounge area is quite small for guests but the weather was good, so we could be outside, we used the BBQ several times during our stay too. The welcome basket was good, with butter, milk, bread, crisps and coffee pods. The kitchen is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for cooking a meal, with plenty of work surfaces, there is also a utility room with a washer and drier which was very useful with 3 little ones. There is very nice hand soap and hand cream in every bathroom, toilet and kitchen and also washing up liquid in the kitchen. We would definitely recommend Redworth as it’s a nice big house in a great location for both beach and village.
Mrs Bayley
Highly recommend. Good location for beach and shops. House is of a very high standard. We no longer have a dog but would be excellent for dog owners. Very kind welcome basket left for us as well.
Jacquetta Nuthall
We gathered for my fathers 90th 10 of us and the dog.. lovely entertainment space and garden .comfortable beds it was a success a few minor issues as with all houses but nothing that spoilt the fun!
Mrs Davis
A perfect holiday home in Bembridge on the best lane right by the sea. Great for groups or large families! Thoroughly recommend.
Mrs Mathias
The location of the house is perfect for the beach and town. Bembridge has a thriving village. Woodfords butchers make amazing pasties and sausage rolls that are hard to resist. Lovely shops and cafes nearby. The house is spacious and perfect for a group of people but we would have liked 10 chairs so we could dine together. The house does need larger saucepans to accommodate a larger group if you like cooking. The lounge is on the small side but we managed due to the nice weather but could be an issue in the colder months. Overall Redworth is a lovely house in a fabulous location.
Mrs Shannon
Lovely property for a family close to the beach and Bembridge
Ms Klammer
A perfect family or larger group property. It is well appointed and equipped for all weathers. Its close location to Bembridge village was ideal for evenings out and leaving the car behind. Also perfect start point for anyone wanting to do the around the island cycle ride which is very well sign posted could do it without downloading the route.
Mrs Antoniades
Beautiful house with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Clean, comfortable and close to beach and local shops. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
Ms Nicholson
Great location and comfortable house in the wonderful village of Bembridge. Very easy place with pubs and restaurants and all key shops (butcher, fish monger, baker and general store) just 5 minutes away
Mr Stephenson
Lovely house, very spacious in an excellent location, the pool table was a real hit ! Future visitors need to be aware that the lounge area is relatively small, you would have difficulty in getting more than 4 or 5 adults comfortably seated to watch TV although, other than our grandchildren watching some occasional TV, we did not use the room preferring to spend our time in the lovely kitchen, garden and pool room !
Mrs Eddy
A great place for a family gathering. The house had everything that we needed and plenty of space for our group. The outside space was a great place to eat and relax by the fire pit. Excellent location close to the beach, shops, coast path etc. So much to explore on the island, we would certainly go back to Redworth.
Mrs Clifford
This is a great house in a fabulous location. It is very well equipped and an easy walk to the beach and local shops. The lounge is the only downside as it is very small in relation to the size of house and only has seating for 5 people.
Ms Bradley
Beautiful house, really clean, beautiful design, great facilities and spacious. The location was perfect near to the beach and a minute walk to the village very quiet- loved hearing the faint sound of the bells from the local church chiming. We had a lovely holiday thank you!
Mrs Warren
Wonderful modern house just a short walk from the beach at Bembridge. Plenty of bedrooms to accomodate 10 adults in comfort. A lovely holiday spot!
Mr Berryman
Stayed at Redworth before and would again. Presented to a very high standard the house has all you need for your holiday and is in a lovely area.
Mr Lelew
A lovely spacious home, tastefuly furnished and decorated with attention to detail making it feel a luxurious holiday. When the family walked into the kitchen/dining area there was a collective 'wow'! Certainly the heart of the house, almost at the expense of the lounge which is relatively small, so not much time spent in there. The bedrooms are all spacious, four with en suites which helps with a large family staying. The master bedroom is a dream! The house is on a no through road so is lovely and quiet. The end of the road leads down to the beach, not more than a five minute walk. There is a co op just round the corner, literally a few steps away. I would definitely recommend this house, we almost didn't want to go out!!!
Mr Berryman
Fabulous house and great location
Ms Klammer
This is a fabulous property which was beautifully decorated and equipped for a great family/group holiday. Its location offers both privacy but easy access to the village amenities and beach. A great base for walking, cycling and getting to the IOW attractions. We will definitely be recommending this to family and friends. I would book again for sure
Ms Spouse
We had a lovely stay at Redworth - it's a great house in a great location and suited our needs for a family of 8, from teen to 80-year-olds. The place was clean and comfortable, the welcome basket was a much appreciated nice touch, and we had a lovely Christmas there. Thank you!
Mrs Taylor
