Mrs Collins
A lovely spacious and light house with good size rooms. The property was very well equipped throughout. Pretty garden with ample seating and BBQ. Good family house in very nice neighbourhood. Parking for one car but we managed to squeeze two in tightly. Would recommend.
Mrs Aldous
Spacious family home, beautifully presented with a private enclosed garden at the back. Parking is easy directly outside the house, within the cul de sac. Walking distance to the shops and beach. Great stay for multi generational holiday.
Mrs Farrant
A beautiful house set right in the heart of Bembridge, a few minutes walk from the beach. We had a wonderful week staying at 9 The Ruskins. This was our first time staying in Bembridge and we loved it. The house is very comfortable and has a great selection of board games for children of all ages. I am sure we will be back to stay again.
Mrs Harrison
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 9 The Ruskins. We couldn't have chosen a better property or area. The property is very well equipped and so comfortable, stylish and spacious with plenty of space for our things. Bembridge was perfect for us and our cockapoo. There are so many walks either coastal or beach within minutes, which was ideal. We hope to visit again!
Mr Hecker
Lovely roomy cottage in an excellent location just a short walk from a gorgeous beach and lovely shops.
MRS HAIGH
We were three generations on holiday for the first time together and found 9 The Ruskins suitable for all of us. Its proximity to the shops, cafes, and beach was a big plus for all ages. The nearby beach was fun to explore, especially the tide pools, and to fly kites.
Mrs Ford
Lovely week spent at 9 The Ruskins. Spacious, clean, comfortable house with enclosed garden. The property is in an excellent location near to village shops and beach. We managed with the small problem of the hot tap in the en-suite which we reported to Classic Cottages at the beginning of our stay, but it was our choice to have this fixed on our departure. The only negative comment we would make about the house is that we felt both bathrooms would benefit from updating. We had a lovely lunch in the The Best Dressed Crab in Bembridge and would also recommend the Harbour View cafe, The Crab and Lobster Inn and Little Fox’s (all in Bembridge). The Old Fort in Seaview is also very good.

perfect location, lovely village within easy walking distance with good shops. Beach very near, good for both dogs and children. Garden a bonus for dogs. Bathrooms could do with an update but did not spoil our enjoyment of the property.
Mr Munns
Lovely place to stay; close to the little Bembridge town, beach area and some lovely pubs! Also a nice quiet area, with good access to other parts of Isle of Wight.
Miss Arnold
Overall a great property. Fabulous location close to village centre and beach with parking. Bathrooms need updating as showers are just mixer taps over bath so not easy to regulate temperature and taps are stiff. Lovely lounge with smart TV and spacious well equipped kitchen. Nice garden. Some road noise. Would recommend.
Mrs Quelch
Our stay at The Ruskins was just wonderful. The house and garden is really beautiful and a great size and the location is literally right on the beach and network of beautiful coastal paths. There’s a lovely beach cafe as well as the brilliant Pilot Boat pub/restaurant on the doorstep as well as gorgeous little Bembridge high street with a co op and cafes/bars/fishmongers/Boots etc 2 min walk away. We couldn’t recommend it more.
Mrs Herring
Bembridge is a lovely village with ample shops and restaurants all within very easy reach. The cottage was lovely, clean and nicely furnished, but both bathrooms need updating. We really enjoyed our stay, the only downside was the weather. We did lots of walking and visiting, especially loved Osbourne House, Appuldercombe House, The Garlic Farm for a lovely lunch and Framptons and Fox's for dinner, both in Bembridge
Dr Scott
A lovely, welcoming home with light and airy rooms. The house is well positioned for the local facilities and the beach. Bembridge is a lovely village to stay in, providing the perfect backdrop for a family holiday.
Mrs Hanley
The property is located in a lovely part of the Isle of Wight. The restaurants / Pubs are all in walking distance & dogs are made to feel very welcome. We had a few nights that we stayed in to eat of which we had a BBQ & bought the meat from the local butcher & salad from the local green grocer’s all which was excellent. The second night we ordered a takeaway which was also very good. The property it’s self was clean & had all we needed for our stay. The garden was secure enough for the dogs & would be fine for young children. We would definitely stay here again.
Mr GUNN
This is a spacious well equipped property, with local shop a few minutes walk away and excellent beaches at Ryde and Sandown within easy reach.
