Poppy Cottage

Poppy cottage is in a great location. It is furnished to a high standard. It’s cosy and very comfortable. Finally we found super clean. Perfect in every way.

We have stayed at Poppy Cottage on numerous occasions. Both the cottage and its location are ideal for a relaxing, away from it all holiday but with the benefit that most of West Cornwall’s attractions are no more than a half hours drive away. Everything you may need is in St Just - pubs, cafes, a supermarket, independent shops, galleries and a couple of takeaways. Parking is easy in the free town car park and there is easy access to the coast path for fabulous walks and stunning views. Poppy Cottage is modern and always spotlessly clean. It is warm with efficient under floor heating and the log burner is great for those gloomy Cornish days when you just want to curl up and read a book.

The cottage was beautiful, everything you could possibly want, car park very close and free. Ideally situated to see everything, would recommend to everyone, absolutely amazing, didn't want to leave!!!

We had a wonderful week’s holiday in Poppy Cottage. It was beautifully clean on arrival and there was a thoughtful welcome pack waiting for us. The cottage has everything a family needs for an enjoyable holiday. The location is perfect – lovely pubs and shops right on the doorstep; Cape Cornwall and Priest’s Cove in walking distance and lots of places to visit just a short drive or bus ride away, including Penzance and beautiful Sennen Cove. We didn’t have any problems parking. Thank you for a lovely holiday. We’d love to stay again – hopefully in the not too distant future!

Very nice cottage, very clean and extremely well equipped.

Very comfortable, cosy and warm cottage. Great for those with mobility issues as there are very few obstacles. Friendly welcome card and pack with milk in the fridge too. Close to the town centre and free carpark nearby. Plenty of places to walk the dog nearby too

Poppy Cottage is comfortable, homely and warm. It is situated ideally for the shops, cafe's and amenities of St Just and is close to the coast path for stunning walks and scenery. Despite being in the centre of the town it is peaceful by day and quiet by night. This our second time at the cottage and we have never had a problem parking our car in the town car park (which is literally a minute's walk from the property). There is nothing not to like!

Immaculate, modern cottage as close to the shops, pubs, takeaways and bus station as you could possibly get without any of the noise you might expect.

Poppy Cottage is situated on the edge of the town with very easy access to general facilities. Good stores, pubs and souvenier outlets to browse.

I would highly recommend for walkers and bird watching as your close to the valleys

Beautifully presented, extremely clean, cosy cottage in a perfect location. Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Would re-book in the future.

Poppy Cottage is a lovely place to stay, we came to Cornwall on our Honeymoon and it was everything we needed from our accommodation. It's at the heart of St Just and within walking distance of so many areas to explore. We would definitely consider coming again.

Very comfortable, beautifully furnished cottage. Good location to explore all that Cornwall has to offer. St Ives was easily accessible and took about 30 mins in the car. Great coastal walks with the dog and beautiful beaches all within easy reach. Perfect sunsets. Without a doubt we will be back.

Lovely cottage. Extremely well equipped with really comfortable beds. Great well thought out layout making it feel rather spacious. Nice cafes and all you need within walking distance for home cooking. Superb fish and chips at Jeremy's. Beautiful walks to Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall. Very enjoyable holiday.

We had a great time in a cosy house with nice Christmas decoration.

Had a lovely stay at Poppy Cottage. This beautiful and well appointed cottage is in a superb central location close to all of the local amenities and a free car park. The furnishings were so comfy - sofas and beds. Would recommend this cottage - thank you for a fantastic holiday !

A compact cottage with a good layout, which was well presented and very clean. Both beds and sofas were extremely comfortable, and all the equipment provided was of a good quality. The location was great with good access to the costal path and the shops of St Just.

As written in above paragraph - We were very pleased with our accomodation. Not only was it warm and inviting when we arrived Friday evening, it felt immaculately clean and covid safe. I was impressed with the covid measures taken which was included in the information folder. It was great to have both domestic and antiseptic items provided in the cottage and it was comforting to have the cleaners contact numbers in there also, if we needed local help. The door key access was simple and efficient. I would have no hesitation in booking with Classic cottages again and would be happy to recommend your company to others. Fantastic job done!

Beautiful and very very clean and comfortable

We had an amazing stay at Poppy Cottage, it is a high spec, cosy cottage and we had a lovely week exploring the Cornish countryside. The cottage has lots of mod cons and we managed to cook meals with ease as everything you need is in the cottage. We could watch movies as we could sign into Netflix and Rakuten TV. Everyone in St Just is very friendly and the fish and chips from Jeremy’s is the best we’ve ever had.
