Fantastic cottage in a lovely peaceful farm, but so close to the lovely beaches. Really a fantastic location and fantastic cottage the beds were so comfy.

We spent a lovely week at the cottage. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful place. Everything we needed was provided and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. Great location too - easy access to St Ives and Carbis Bay yet far enough away to be quiet and tranquil. The owners are also super helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Another wonderful stay here and have already booked to come back as one of our breaks for next year. Location is so convenient with so much to do and visit nearby and further afield.

A wonderful place to stay and explore the surrounding beaches and villages. Very peaceful and rural but only a short walk (1 mile) to the nearest beach - very well equipped, clean and tasteful furnishings - a gem of a find; we will return.

Our entire stay at Trenance was superb from start for finish. The property was super clean, laid out fabulously. Dog friendly, comfy beds & sofa, the kitchen was well equipped and the location was stunning! We will definitely return!

I loved our stay at Trenance. The owners made us feel very welcome leaving biscuits and freshly laid eggs. The cottage was so comfortable and the location was great.

Immaculately clean and bright. Comfortable large beds with attractive cushions/decor downstairs. Good bathroom. Lovely window on stairs up to living area. Compact living area with everything you need. Very well equipped kitchen. Nice touch to leave flowers and biscuits/eggs/ tea bags. Good for 2 adults - might be a bit tight for 4 adults upstairs. Loved the stable door. Didn’t use outside as very cold wind but in better weather would be great for BBQs /meals outside. Looks out onto fields / farm. Very quiet. Excellent base for exploring coast both sides, coast path, beaches. Can walk from cottage.

The property was ideally located for our needs, easy access to get around the peninsular to see stunning countryside and coastal locations. Friendly owners, very comfortable and immaculately clean property to stay in and would book again in the future, note availability bookings already disappearing fast for 2022 ! says everything you need to know for this great property.

Beautifully converted cottage in a superbly quiet and tranquil location: no air pollution, no noise pollution - loved it.

Trenance was the perfect location to explore the west of Cornwall, set in a peaceful valley and still only a 5 mins drive to Carbis Bay beach which is a fantastic sandy beach with stunning views across the Hayle estuary and 10 mins from bustling St Ives. The accommodation was extremely clean and very well presented and the hosts were brilliant making sure we had arrived safely. We felt very at home at Trenance. We would highly recommend this property.

On arrival we were met by the owners of the property who were very welcoming and even made us some cake with a cup of tea. The property was well decorated and looked just beautiful. I have nothing bad to report. From the moment we viewed your website, to booking, to receiving build up emails, to arrival and throughout our holiday we had a great experience. Thank you.

The cottage was well located; peaceful, great views out over the fields, lovely walks to Carbis Bay and St Ives. Barn itself was cosy, bright, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We walked to St Ives (and got the train back to Carbis Bay), and Mousehole, Marazion and Sennen Cove were all within easy reach by car. The beds were comfy, the place was warm and welcoming and we had everything we needed. It was lovely to have fresh flowers, milk, eggs and lovely homemade cake on arrival too. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We love the location of this dog friendly cottage.Able to walk and explore the many footpaths without using the car so dogs were in their element.It suits us and we hope to return again soon.

Quiet, well equipped detached cottage with efficient heating. The cake, eggs and milk left for us were well appreciated.

A perfect, cosy hideaway in the countryside just outside St Ives and, therefore, well positioned for exploring the beautiful Cornish coastline. A delightful barn conversion, well equipped and with a lovely garden and outdoor dining area (I wish we'd had the weather to make the most of them!). Well fenced and dog friendly too. The nearby Halsetown Inn has to be recommended - dog friendly and listed as one of the top 10 places to eat in Cornwall. We enjoyed our short break here, despite the dreadful weather!

Fantastic cottage perfect for exploring Cornwall’s many sandy beaches. Trenance is a delightful, well equipped, cottage in a quiet location. We stayed for a week in June 2018, with our dog, and had a wonderful time.

Great property in a great location close to St Ives and beaches.

A really comfortable cottage with great hospitality from the owner. This wasn't just a space to eat and sleep, it had a lot of extras for home comfort, including books, games and beach equipment.

Cottage is well equipped, in a quiet location, nicely surrounded by cows, rabbits and neighbour dogs. A lovely owner has welcomed us with flowers, cake, eggs and milk for a good start. We would love to come back.

Trenance is quite simply a superb cottage situated in a lovely peaceful spot with just the mooing cows and the crowing cockerel as neighbours, but with the best parts of Cornwall within easy reach. Penzance, Hayle, Carbis bay and the wonderful St Ives are but a handful of minutes away. We loved the cottages warm and comfortable reversed layout, with a feature stain glass window that will amaze you when the sun starts to set.

Very nice secluded position of this small converted cottages. Very clean and well equipped. In welcome there are flowers, eggs, milk and Scones. Nice gesture. To the supermarket is 20 min down the hill. Idyllic location. Mobile and mobile internet not in every corner of the house. Kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher and equipment. Excellent base for nature lovers, travellers with eye to quality. Thanks. Will come again with pleasure.

One of the best family holidays I've ever had loved every minute.

The cottage was a delight, warm, comfortable and very well equipped with an abundance of towels which was greatly appreciated. The owner was kind and friendly, providing milk, eggs and cake to greet us. Lovely location in the quiet countryside but near enough to St Ives to walk in. We had a lovely winter break in this beautiful place.

Lovely cottage in a great location.

Trenance is beautifully situated on farmland and you have a lovely feeling of secluded tranquility. The closest neighbours are birds and a few cows. If you're lucky, you may encounter a visiting farmer with one of the friendliest dogs in the country. However you are still only five minutes from the newsagent, grocer and post office of Carbis Bay and, best of all, Carbis Bay and Porthkidney beaches, the latter being dog-friendly all year round. Another bonus is that you can dine very well at a different restaurant or pub every night per week, which are all very close AND dog-friendly. Trenance is owned by a lovely couple, who simply want to make your stay as great as possible.

We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this one is without doubt the best in all respects. Thank you to the owners and Classic Cottages. Our holiday was during Christmas and when we arrived the owners had not only decorated the cottage, including a Christmas tree with lights, but had also provided mince pies, clotted cream, heavy cake, milk and eggs.

Lovely cottage in superb location. Very well equipped. Welcome pack is the best we have had. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Excellent cottage if you have a dog. The garden is fully enclosed with a good sized lawn. There are good walks in the immediate vicinity. I am loathe to criticise anything, however, the mattress on the double bed was a little springy for our liking. If this could be changed the cottage would score 12/10 instead of 10/10! Very quiet even though located on a working farm.

Superb quiet and private converted barn, ideal for couple plus dog. Easy drive to a different place each day for sightseeing. Almost everywhere is dog friendly and after Oct 1st the beaches are wonderful.

The location of this property was excellent. It was very quiet and tucked away but in easy reach of all that we wanted to do. It was a well developed property with thought having gone into the design. The decor was very tastefully done.

We were looking to find accomodation close to Porth Kidney beach, Trenance looked the perfect place which it was, throughly enjoyed our stay

We were particularly impressed with Kitchen accessories, everything you could possibly have needed.

A comfortable, recently renovated property, well equipped. It is in a lovely quiet location, with great walks all around. Nice touches in the welcome pack - home baked cakes, fresh eggs and flowers. No WiFi or some mobile network coverage.

A little Cornish gem! I wish I could keep it a secret...
