Your four-legged friends will love the grassed lawn, surrounded by well tended shrubs and a sublime view. This secluded spot is just the place for morning coffee, long leisurely lunches or perhaps star gazing late into the night, just as the name suggests! Our second time to Stargazey and we loved it as much. Thank you Michelle for your careful eye to detail, the beautiful flower and autumn foliage display and delicious baking. We intend to return again.
Mrs Lambert
We had a wonderful stay at Stargazey barn - lovely warm welcome on arrival from Michelle, which she had kimdly made us scones, with Jam & Cream, also homemade bread along with milk in the fridge. The barn was very thoughtfully done making it feel home from home. Our elderly dog loved it with the beautiful enclosed garden. Beautiful stars at night along with all the nature set in beautiful countryside but close to the sea and beautiful destinations - we saw a beautiful barn owl there a few times. I would definitely recommend Stargazey barn - it really was a memorable stay thank you x
Mr Kitching
Idyllic location slightly off the beaten track but very close to all the amenities you need. You couldn't want for anything else, a truly peaceful location perfect for R&R. Some lovely personal touches when we arrived.

Fabulous location . So quiet and peaceful with lovely walks from the door . Brilliantly located for visits to both Godrevy and Botallack two of our favourite places . If you can catch Tanglewood Wild Garden open it's an absolute delight , beautiful and quirky . Michelle is a brilliant host . Very responsive , thoughtful and helpful , close by but never intrusive . Her home made bread is excellent and I'm ashamed to say we ate a whole loaf in one sitting ! Highly recommend and we would love to return. Thank you Michelle for a special stay. Classic Cottages professional and helpful as always

Stargazey Barn is a lovely quiet little cottage, tastefully finished to a high standard with everything you could need. With a footpath leading from the back straight into the countryside, you can easily walk from the cottage to explore stone circles, standing stones, quoits and other local antiquities. The pretty garden was perfect for watching the swallows and the setting sun. Stargazey is a peaceful and calm place where you can relax and immerse yourself in the nature, history and beauty of this part of Cornwall.
Mrs Lee
We had the most amazing week at stargazey barn. Situated in the most idillic location and a short drive from lots of gorgeous places. Michelle was an excellent host and responsive to any queries we had, a gorgeous loaf of fresh bread and scones were waiting for us when we arrived, just perfect! We didn’t know what would be in the barn, but it was a home from home and had everything we required such as an iron, cooking utensils and washing facilities! We have no doubt we will book to come again next year.
Mr Norris

We had a lovely time at Stargazey Barn and certainly intend to return on one of our regular visits to the end of the peninsula. Michelle gave us a friendly welcome with cream tea and homemade bread. Then, we simply relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful attention to detail, the rural location and the peace in my favourite part of the UK.

Stargazey Barn is a real delight. The barn is clean and very comfortable in every way. We had a cream tea waiting for us and a lovely welcome from Michelle too. There is a lovely enclosed garden perfect for our dog with views over the moors and Ding Dong mine in the distance. We love this part of Cornwall, nothing is too far away to visit and so beautiful. We would really recommend coming to stay here and would love to come again.

A very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated barn in a quiet area with parking. The host was very friendly and welcoming with some nice touches at the property including flowers, cream tea on arrival and bread and milk. The property was very clean and had a very nice garden with wide countryside views. In a good area for sightseeing the far west of Cornwall.
Mrs Cavanagh
Beautifully remote, an amazing Barn conversion very carefully converted. A lovely garden and table area at the back made it very secluded. Perfect for two, plus a dog ,if you’ve got one. Quite romantic and when the sky is clear stars the are like diamonds and night sky so deep. Very good for stargazing!
Mr Shipman
Stargazey Barn is a delightful place to stay. Michelle made us most welcome and we appreciated the the cream tea that awaited us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was truly enchanting and we enjoyed our walks from the doorstep. Carfury is also centrally placed to visit both North, South and West coasts of the peninsula. We will definitely be returning!
Mr and Mrs Ferguson
The location has wonderful walks on North or South coast, and beautiful moorland hills with very interesting wildlife, and archaeological sites. The cottage is ideal for a couple, and especially for our elderly dog who was very happy there, we are grateful they take dogs and she was welcomed them with a pot of treats she loved! a delightful little garden with interesting flower bed and lawn. Wonderful walks from the door along a quiet no through road and also through fields, both leading up to the edge of the moor and unlimited fine walking! The owners were very welcoming and friendly.
Mrs Tamplin
A wonderful, cosy barn in the heart of the far west. Tastefully decorated, most comfortable bed and very well equipped. Michelle was a lovely host!
Mrs Charity
We would highly recommend this accommodation. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The owner was very warm and welcoming. Great value for money, we couldn’t fault it.
Mrs Kane
I believe we were the first guests in this superbly renovated cottage. The facilities were brilliant and the whole place was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. Easy access to the moors and to both beautiful coastlines. Michelle and Matt welcomed us with home made scones and later in the week with superb freshly filleted Cornish mackerel. The location and cottage garden are really very beautiful - and an evening we spent in the garden showed why the owner's have called this gorgeous place 'Stargazey'. Highly recommended!
