Excellent cottage and the owners are fantastic.
Ms Whitelegg
Delightful cottage with friendly helpful owners. Arrived to find a cream tea, wine and fresh wild flowers in every room which made the experience very special. Very clean and kitchen had everything you need. Lovely little back courtyard garden. Very dog friendly and owners’ dog is gorgeous. Perfect location for coastal walks, Senna, Mousehole, Zennor, Lands End , Penzance. Great chippy in St Just! Thank you for our lovely relaxing stay.
Mrs Underhill
We had a fabulous week in this beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. We felt very relaxed and at home here. David and Sheila were so welcoming and friendly and the added gesture of a bottle of wine and cakes started the week off well. Our dog enjoyed herself too and made friends with Ingrid! The area was ideal for us and we would thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage to our friends.
Mr Kingslan
If you are looking for a rural getaway, but don’t want to be too far from the shops and the sea, then this is the one.
Mrs Bentley
The prettiest of little cottages and with a NT-style welcome of biscuits and tea together with a warm cottage. Lovely helpful owners who know a lot about the area and can help with suggestions if needed.
Ms Reeves
The cottage is well placed for exploring the area around Penzance and St Just, including the gardens at Godolphin , Trengwainton and Trewidden
Mr Lawton
We enjoyed a wonderful sunny week exploring West Penwith. Prospect cottage is a perfect retreat - with lovely artistic touches - a cozy wood-burner & a well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed spending time in the courtyard - lots of lovely plants and we enjoyed hearing the cuckoo’s. Sheila & David are excellent hosts - friendly and welcoming. It was a joy to meet them. The cottage is delightful & peaceful and a very short drive to St. Just & Pendeen so we had easy access to wonderful walks and explored many ancient sites in the area.
Mr Key
A secluded and comfortable cottage which is in a great location for exploring the coast and moors of West Cornwall.
Mr Coleman

We spent a week in a wonderful, cosy and romantic cottage, which was very nicely designed and decorated. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and we felt at home and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and they gave us useful advise about where to go. Is is a place from which you can visit all the interesting places around and at the same time use it as a beautiful retreat. Certainly worth spending your holiday there.

Mr French

Miss Hepting
Prospect Cottage is a lovely little place to stay. The location was perfect for exploring my favourite areas of Cornwall and it was situated in a quiet place. The owners, David and Sheila, were amazing! Very helpful and saved our plans on one occasion. They are so friendly and we very much enjoyed our conversations with them. The cottage was so cosy, clean, kitchen was super well equipped ( we love to cook) and the owners artwork can be seen in each room which made it even more special. Thoughtful touch of a bottle of red was also very much appreciated. Will definitely be returning as soon as possible!
Mrs Powell
I would be very happy to stay there again
Miss Russell
Prospect Cottage was lovely with fresh flowers around the cottage & lots of the hosts art which was unique. It is just off a busy road so a car is essential. Would recommend bringing extra towels as ventilation is poor in the bathroom.
Ms Murray
Defently ok
Mrs Lake
There was a warm welcome from friendly owners, plus a bottle of wine and vases of flowers dotted around in this very pretty and peaceful cottage. Perfect base for many beautiful Cornish Spring gardens and the Cape Cornwall coast. Nearby St Just is lovely too, with its amazing church.
Mrs Weimers
Thank you for a lovely stay at Prospect cottage. Cosy and comfortable with a vey well equipped kitchen for such a small space and pretty cottage bedroom. I loved the individual artistic touches such as the decorative leaves in the bedroom. Once mastered, the wood burner, along with electric radiators, effectively kept the out the autumnal evening cool. The enclosed rear garden area was very useful for the dog, as escape proof, and also must be a wonderful place to sit out and enjoy in the summer, though weather not quite balmy enough to make use of in late October. Very helpful and friendly owners - thank you for the much appreciated welcome of a bottle of wine and delicious pastry! Though the setting is very rural it is a just short drive to reach Penzance and well placed for exploring the attractions of the whole of this part of Cornwall. One tip - do arrive first time in daylight as much trickier to find the turning off main road in the dark.
Ms Boaden
This is a little gem: comfortable, well equipped and brilliantly located for exploring in and around Penzance and over to St Ives. The hosts are exceptionally helpful without being intrusive.
Mr Rowson
Great cottage and location.
Ms Thomas
A pretty cottage with welcoming helpful owners
Mr Kinman
Beautiful cottage, made to feel very welcome by the owners - helpful but not in any way intrusive. Ideal location for exploring Cornwall - at most a 20 minute drive away from most major landmarks in the area. Would definitely recommend and fully intending to come back next year. Incredibly peaceful, the perfect little getaway.
Ms Dowler
Please add the following if it helps to encourage other people who like cycling or wanted to enjoy a quiet holiday:- The owners David and Sheila are the most delightful people. It was a joy to meet them. David let me store my bike safely next to the cottage and was able to offer useful knowledge on cycling in that area. The cottage is a tranquil quiet haven filled with Sheila's beautiful pottery. I couldn't have wishes for a nicer place to stay.
Reverend Smith
A very special place full of tranquillity and charm. Decorated simply and beautifully.
Miss Hunt
Delightful peaceful & comfortable cottage with everything you'd need. The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome. A beautiful little gem surrounded by nature away from the madding crowds. We found it perfectly located and easy to find. The ceramics and tiles created by the owners are lovely touches. The welcome bottle of wine & corniche biscuits, fresh wild flowers & a doggy biscuit was a perfect touch. We'd stay again and have no hesitation in recommending friends.
Miss Jennings
We had a wonderful stay at Prospect Cottage, in such a beautiful park of the world. The cottage is so pretty and the Owners so friendly and helpful. It really is in the most relaxing place, a short drive from St Just and Penzance. Lovely beaches nearby including Sennen with great walks to Pendeen Lighthouse along the coastal path. I can’t fault this property! Thank you
Mrs Colmer

Miss Hoang
My partner and I had an absolutely brilliant time in Cornwall and Prospect Cottage was an excellent base to stay. All the tourist locations were about 20 minutes drive and the cottage itself was great value for money. It has everything you need and expect from a home away from home, the facilities are good quality and it is a nice relaxing area. As a bonus, the hosts were delightful people who lived next door and were willing to help in any way they could. I would definitely recommend booking the Prospect Cottage!
Mr Douglas
We really loved this cosy cottage which although it is small is not cramped or dingy which old cottages sometimes are. Great location for visiting South Cornwall.
Reverend Moss
Very friendly and helpful landlord. Beautiful, arty house. Lovely fresh flowers and bottle of wine very welcome too. Homely feel. Wonderful quiet spot, with lovely moors and beaches nearby, but not isolated. St Just very local. Well worth a stay, would recommend to friends or family. Thank you.

Mr Hobbs
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is compact but comfortable and the location could not be bettered fpr tranquility and peace. The tiles in the bathroom are beautifully painted ( by the owner?) and the fresh flowers left for us were lovely. The track down to the cottage is bordered by sprays of wild flowers. We even heard a cuckoo singing nearby one morning! What more could one ask for? Close to Penzance. St Ives etc
Mrs Price
This little tiny home from home was just lovely.
Ms Jackson
Very friendly hosts , spotlessly clean and tasteful decor but not really suitable for our mad spaniel in bad weather as close to marshy areas! However we love Cornwall and always enjoy it.
Mr Tomlins
We had a lovely warm welcome from Mrs. Williams, and very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well equiped and had a lovely 'cottagy' feel. It was light and airy...not at all gloomy as some cottages can be. Also it is in an excellent location for visiting the far western part of Cornwall. We really enjoyed many cliff walks and photographing the tin mines in the area.
Miss Thomson
Mr and Mrs Williams were extremely welcoming and helpful without being over-bearing. Nice touches such as a bottle of wine for the humans and dog biscuits for the dog were much appreciated. The cottage is sympathetically and stylishly decorated with considerate and practical appliances. The cottage has a nice feel and I was very happy there.
Miss Waller
This is a lovely little cottage in a fantastic location, a peaceful spot with lots of great walks and places to explore not far away. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we received a warm welcome and knew they were there if we needed anything during our stay. The garden is a real sun trap and lovely place for lunch on a sunny day.

The cottage is lovely decorated and exceptionally clean. Central location so every spot in Penwith is reached within a short ride. Friday changeover is superb as the main traffic is on Saturday. Everyone who has ever queued at Temple or Victoria will appreciate it.
