Porth Chapel Cabin
Far West Cornwall is renowned for its glorious golden sandy beaches, hidden coves and idyllic countryside, stretching as far as the eye can see. Porth Chapel Cabin is an enchanting romantic bolthole, hidden away in a sub-tropical paradise and just a short journey away from the delights of St Ives and Mousehole.
Deep in the beating heart of west Cornwall, Porth Chapel Cabin is a beautifully crafted retreat with a gorgeous outside terrace where you can sit in the Cornish sun from dawn until dusk. Inside the open plan cabin is simply stunning. Contemporary lighting, a brilliant sound system and a Smart TV, marry seamlessly with quirky interiors where exposed brick and oak add charm and character.
The kitchen has been cleverly handcrafted, using upcycled materials. There's everything you need to whip up delicious holiday treats, so shop in one of many local farm shops and roadside stalls for the freshest of Cornish produce. Snuggle up in front of the wood-burner, perfect whatever the weather, this really is the location for all seasons.
The dreamy bed with feature brass bedstead has luxury linens, so sweet dreams are assured. The shower-room is perfect for a refreshing shower after a busy day out and about exploring the local area. Outside, the large decked space has the perfect combination of two seating areas and a dining-table so you can follow the sun or sit in the shade on a hot day. The barbecue invites you to dine al fresco surrounded by magical sub-tropical trees, paradise indeed! Porth Chapel Cabin...where your Cornish fairy-tale awaits.
There is another hideaway on site Poldhu (4976) and Beryas Cottage (4970), but please note the properties are positioned in a way so you have plenty of privacy.

Mrs PARISSE
Very nice stay there: ideal for 2 people, the cottage is really nice, welcoming, cosy and confortable, we completely enjoyed our stay there ! It is better though to come by car: we did not, and we thought that it would be a lot easier with respect to the location of the cottage. Do not hesitate !
Mrs MacNae
Absolutely gorgeous cabin, exceptionally clean. Loved the welcome basket. Would definitely stay here again.
Mr Lowe
Booked for my wife's birthday treat - and what a treat it was! Stunning cabin, cosy, romantic, and very well equipped to a high standard. Great location for exploring the area but tucked away, the lush planting making it feel very secluded and a great place to relax. We made good use of the barbecue, and the deck when weather permitted. Owners very friendly. Birthday cards, decs, flowers and treats went down very well! Thank you so much.
Miss Karia
Lovely stay at porth Chapel for our 30th birthday. The owners left us some lovely birthday cards and treats, thank you! Cute cabin with parking right outside. Interiors are lovely, really enjoyed the log fire and the large TV! Thank you
Ms Wallis
The cabin has been very well thought out and the owners put a lot of thought and effort into additional extras, which really made a difference to our stay. There was a lovely basket of goodies, flowers on the table and wine in the fridge, all excellent touches. Had it been winter, we would have loved using the wood burner, and can imagine it being really cosy and warm in there when the weather is colder.
Mr Williams
From the moment you arrive you can relax. The attention to detail is faultless. We loved the design and the beautiful, lush gardens. The welcome pack did the trick and within a short space of time we were on the sunny deck sipping the chilled Prosecco. Loved it.
Mr cresswell
Beautiful cabin loved every minute. First class.
Mrs Barton
Such a beautiful little cabin in a great setting with everything you could need for a little getaway for two. The little extras like the welcome basket and blanket and treats for the dog were a lovely surprise. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will look forward to returning ourselves in the future. A wonderful place to stay.
Mr Cumming
Lovely quiet location. Five minute drive to great dining, beaches, good pubs etc. Great for access to footpaths/sw coast path.
Miss Curtis
Excellent location, road noise isn’t an issue. Really comfortable and the log burner was just amazing. We will be back in the summer to make full use of the BBQ
Mrs Godden
Kind and generous hosts.Great attention to detail. We had the perfect stay.
Mr Harkins
A perfect luxury/boutique cabin, a lot of thought has gone into the details and finishes. Very clean and well laid out. Felt very relaxed there. The bed mattress was very comfortable. The kitchenette whilst modestly stocked with utensils did had all the essentials. The sound system and TV were great! It was a great location too for access to Porthcurno/Mynack Theatre/Lands End/Sennen (15-20 mins), Penzance and supermarkets are 5 mins away. We liked it so much that we’ve booked another stay there.
Mr Rollason
We absolutely adored our stay at this property. Thank you so much for the amazing welcome pack. Location is great and the cabin is to a very high standard. We loved the log burner. TV was amazing. Would be good if it had free to air channels rather than using apps, but not the end of the world. The owners have thought of everything. We were truly blown away. Newlyn is a great little town. Try Mackrell Sky and Aunty May's. Porthleven has some great restaurants too. A couple of small points.
Mrs Finch
Loved porth chapel cabin it’s in the perfect location for visits to penzance newlyn and mousehole. Very cosy perfect for the two of us and the dog. The grounds are very pretty and very private and the cabin has its own parking place. It’s situated in the main A30 but you can’t see it but there is some traffic noise but it didn’t bother us.
Mr Shannon
Absolutely charming property and a wonderful location for getting around the local area. Pack light and you will love it!
Ms Reznikova
We booked ‘Porth Chapel’ cabin on a bit of a whim to extend an already booked holiday for an extra week. We were really glad we did and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its proximity to the A30 was a bit of a concern to us but it really was not a problem at all, as it turned out. The cabin is tucked away and well positioned and insulated so that the road noise is barely visible when inside and no problem when outside on the lovely decked area. We had great weather and loved sitting out at all times of the day and evening, enjoying the sun. The cabin itself is beautifully clean, furnished and designed and the TV and sound system are incredible for a holiday let. The owners were extremely generous, leaving goodies, milk, Prosecco, fudge, beer and fresh flowers which we really appreciated. If, like us, you cook, please be aware that there is no oven or grill. We were caught out by this! Still, proximity to amazing cafes and restaurants gives you every excuse to go out. Newlyn is 5 only minutes away by car, and Penzance, too. Private parking is a blessing, as is the lush vegetation in which the cabin is set. You are assured privacy but Nigel and Karen are only a phone call away and are brilliant if you need them. We had a lovely time and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Classic Cottages.
Mrs Newitt
This is a wonderful property which gave the impression that it was crafted with love and passion; its detailing set it apart from other cottages/huts we have stayed in. All the features were of high quality and we were very comfortable during our stay. We found the location was ideal to tour the area with many good attractions & Cornwall at its finest on the doorstep. We loved the Trewidden Garden's just a stroll up the road, the National Trust a short ride away and Lands End a nip in the car. Although a smaller car might help us navigate the small roads around Mousehole & Minack Theatre next time. We found many places to eat locally as well as be able to cook up a good breakfast from the cabin. If anything our stay was too short, we ran out of time to do all we wanted to do and we would really consider returning to sample more of the owners lovely properties next year.
