Parlour Sky
With distant sea views to Mount's Bay from this gorgeous and contemporary single-storey rural retreat, you will find a stay here hard to resist!
Light and warm and decorated with soft shades of grey, Parlour Sky will tick all the boxes. The stylish open plan living-room has French doors which open into a lovely enclosed garden and patio-area, with distant sea views throughout the year – a perfect spot to storm watch or watch the sun go down, G&T in hand.
There are two bedrooms, the main bedroom houses a fantastically comfortable king-size bed, dressed with luxury linens. The second bedroom has a 'zip and link' king-size bed, which can be made up as twin beds (2'6''), again the linens and towels are top quality so you will have no worries about comfort here!
The living-room has two extremely cosy sofas and the TV enables you to log into your Netflix account and take in a film or two if you have had enough adventuring for one day.
A country lane leads you to this working farm, and if you want to share your holiday with friends or family, The Duck House (3204) is just 100 yards across the farmyard. Watch as the cows pass for milking, they may pop their heads over the hedge, but they are gentle creatures and just want to moo (cow talk for hello).

Mr Gough
This was our second stay at Parlour Sky. It is a lovely home and a great location we had a wonderful relaxing break.
Mr Marston
Very comfortable, well-appointed and spacious accommodation. A great place to relax and enjoy the stunning views of Mounts Bay.
Mrs White
Lovely cottage in a great location wonderful views of Mounts bay. The cottage has everything you need, clean comfortable and airy. We had a great few days at the cottage and would highly recommend a stay here.
Mr Cooper
Fantastic location for exploring the main attractions of this part of Cornwall. The proximity of three large supermarkets makes self catering easy, particularly if catering for a family. Penzance itself has useful rail and bus services which we made full use of to reduce the pressure on the roads and parking- particularly relevant at the height of the season. Views from the cottage across the bay to Newlyn are amazing. Please remember this is a working farm so tractors can wake you up early!!!
Mrs Blakemore
A well kept cottage all on one level, in peaceful surroundings.
Mrs Blakemore
Very well appointed accommodation, in a rural setting.
Mrs Langdon
We loved the location of the cottage, it was ideal for exploring the most southern part of Cornwall and the view from the cottage was lovely. Inside you could not have got a more comfortable place with everything that you need being provided. Liz, the owner welcomed us on our first night and provided a lovely cream tea! We would definitely recommend this cottage - especially if you like cows- which we do!
Mrs Lemke
Everything was perfect, down to the last detail. Super furnished kitchen, great bedrooms, comfortable beds with soft linens. You have to know that you are driving to a working farm, so the tractors are on the road around the cottage very early. And cattle drives and cow dung are also part of it. But we enjoyed it very much and found it super interesting. The invitation of the hosts to move freely around the yard to look at newborn calves was also great. Our kids loved it. It's especially great when you get up in the morning and the cows slowly make their way in front of the garden towards the pasture. It's totally relaxing. We were not disturbed in any way, on the contrary. The view from there is awesome.
Mrs Baker
We had a lovely stay at Parlour Sky. The accommodation was faultless, the view was beautiful and it was in a great location. Although it’s a working dairy farm, we weren’t disturbed by the goings on - think the earliest I heard any noises was at about 7am - and we loved seeing the cows pottering around. We walked from the farm in to Penzance a few times - yes it’s a good 20-25 mins and very hilly on the way back, but as a family of three with a teenage son who are all in to running and hiking, it was spot on for us. We also walked to St Michael’s Mount from the farm and back again once we’d fuelled up with pasties in Marazion. The bus service round the far west is excellent in the summer months, so we did some lovely coastal walks in addition to getting the train to St Ives. Liz is a great host - lovely chatting to her about Cornwall living and getting top tips of things to do. Thank you!
Mr Gough
Parlour Sky is decorated with flair and is a very comfortable, bright and warm home. It was faultless and Liz was very helpful host without being intrusive. The location…minutes from the sea and Penzance was great. We will return!
MRS BEET
Really enjoyed our time at Parlour Sky. Cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Lovely views and a good location for exploring the area. Owners are friendly and welcoming and do all they can to make your stay as good as possible. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.
Mr Carrington
Lovely place with very helpful and friendly owners. A bit cut off as far as walking out was concerned.
Mr Froment
Excellent property - couldn’t fault it . We all felt very comfortable staying here . Bright airy property that was crisp and very clean . Would definitely return again and recommend to family and friends . Owners very welcoming , but not intrusive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay .
Mr Prebble
Highly recommend this property for both condition and location.
Mrs steadman
All in all a really great break from the norm of life, owners could not do enough. Really nice friendly people, beds are very comfy, bathroom is a delight, kitchen lounge and outside space really well thought out, if you are going to Penzance or around the area, this is a really good option to think about, just mind the cat at the bottom of the lane near the first houses you'll meet at it seems to love the sun.
Mrs Sharrod
A lovely cottage in a quiet beautiful location with great sea views. The host was friendly and helpful.
Mrs Hosking
We enjoyed a super week at Parlour Sky. The cottage was immaculate in every way. There were beautiful sea views across Mounts Bay from the main living area. The owners were very friendly and called to see that everything was ok. We would highly recommend and hope to return.

The cottage is exceptionally clean, well-equipped and comfortable and sits in a wonderful location for visiting local attractions and stunning beach walks. Watching the cows on the working farm was an added bonus!

Mr Reeve
Parlour Sky exceeded our expectations. Probably the best holiday rental we’ve ever had. Clean and modern. Scones, jam, cream and flowers were a lovely touch.
Mr Davies
Had a lovely stay for 2 weeks with our 3 young children. Hosts close by in case of any issues. Close to shops and some brilliant beaches. Lovely to look out at the sea from the living room.
Ms Barrow
We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was home from home, and thoroughly lived up to our expectations. The location was perfect and so quiet, very relaxing. The decor was great and every kitchen implement you could think of was provided. Would highly recommend
Mrs Bedford
Lovely cottage - immaculately clean, spacious and with good quality furnishings and appliances. Great location being near amenities but also tucked away down a lane so actually in a quiet, rural setting. Amazing views from living room across Penzance Bay. You do need to like the smell of cows as it really is in the middle of a working dairy farm. Would definitely recommend.
Mr Wilson
Parlour Sky is one of the top classic cottages we have stayed in, and one which will be added to our 'return to list'. Alan and Jenny,
Mr Stanley
Wonderful views Friendly and helpful owners
Mrs Hodges
We enjoyed our stay at Parlour Sky and were very lucky with some exceptional weather for October. The cottage is comfortable with an excellent level of cleanliness. Local walks from the cottage and fairly close to amenities and road links.
Mrs Broome
I booked this from reading the description and looking at the photographs on your website. It didn’t let me down, Classic cottages have never let me down! A lovely sea view from which we could see the Scillonian, the cows on the farm and the weather! A great location for taking daily walks along the coast paths. A good choice of supermarkets near by as well. We are regular visitors to Cornwall- no motorways to travel on from home! I will definitely be booking this one again.
Mr Froment
We stayed at Parlour Sky for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property was extremely clean , furnishings comfortable and excellent quality . The views of the sea from the main living area far exceeded our expectations . We would definitely consider returning and would have no reservations in recommending it as a place to stay .
Mr Risbridger
Any renter should be aware that the cottage is located in the middle of a working farm. This did not detract from our enjoyment of the property and in fact made the stay more interesting. There is a great view of Penzance and the coastline from the large lounge window and the cottage is ideally located for Penzance and the surrounding area. All the rooms are large, very clean and well equipped. There were nice touches from the owner such as flowers, scones and cream left out on arrival. Liz (the farmers wife), called on the first evening to make sure that everything was okay and was available should we have needed anything. Highly recommended and would stay again.
Mrs Regan
Parlour Sky is an exceptional cottage. It is spacious, well decorated, very clean and comfortable. The photographs on the website really do reflect the high standard of decor (which is not always the case!). We were lucky with the weather and loved sitting in the garden with views over the bay (and watching the cows coming and going for milking!). Wish we were still there!
Mr Mullins
Lovely sea views from a lovely, modern and well equipped cottage on a working farm. Very friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommend.
Mr Seal
Spotlessly clean place which was really very well equipped.
Mrs Simpson
Gorgeous property with beautiful views, super comfortable with lots of lovely touches throughout, very well thought out, everything you could wish for or need is provided. Brilliant location for exploring this beautiful area, lots of amenities close by even though you are nestled in a wonderful bit of countryside. Definitely 5 star standard.
Miss Pryce
Beautiful barn conversion with stunning views. I would highly recommend this property.
Mrs Cook

Ms Turnbull
We had a fantastic holiday at Parlour Sky and the cottage was beautiful. We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone who is thinking of holidaying in Cornwall. There was so much to see and do in the immediate area (and beyond!). The owners, Liz and Gavin, were very friendly and helpful too and we were greeted by fresh flowers and cream tea on arrival. They even bought our baby boy his first bucket and spade for the beach!
