Home Cottage
Nestled in the breathtaking Cornish countryside in a National Landscape (formerly an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) in the quaint village of St Buryan, this gorgeous barn conversion promises a luxury staycation and an ideal family retreat. The rural location is truly idyllic and a place where you can totally immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings. You have made it to far west Cornwall and the perfect location to base yourself to explore the beauty and history of this special part of the county where there are fields full of native plants and for bird watchers, it's paradise. The parish is dotted with evidence of Neolithic activity, stone circles and Celtic crosses.
Open the wide sliding doors and let the outside in or take to the patio terrace which has dining furniture and looks out onto the ever-changing landscape beyond. Relax in the luxurious hot tub and enjoy this exceptional view, the sunsetting is spectacular. During the summer months you have a front row seat in the cottage's garden to view the Magic in the Skies firework display at Land's End.
Home Cottage is all on one floor with two steps up to the kitchen and bedrooms. The stylish interiors and attention to detail complement its countryside location. Step up into the huge social kitchen which has everything a culinary artist could wish for. You can either enjoy al fresco dining on the patio or take to the dining-area where there is a dining-table or sit-up bar, pour a glass of wine and watch the preparation of the family feast. With a modern utility-room and separate cloakroom, there is plenty of room to accommodate the whole family. Cosy up and sink into sumptuous sofas and enjoy watching movies together on the Smart TV or on a chilly winter's afternoon, light the wood-burning stove.
The hallway leads to three beautifully styled bedrooms. Bedroom three has a comfy super-king double bed and en suite shower-room with a luxury power shower and a large second bedroom has 'zip and link' beds, super-king or a twin. A smaller bedroom with bunk-beds for the little ones and a luxury family bathroom complete this beautiful barn.

Lovely cottage for a holiday with your pets and a great location for exploring dog friendly beaches locally.
Mr Wring
Beautiful barn conversion with the added advantage of a hot tub, lovely luxurious abode to explore the area. As always classic cottages service was excellent!
Mrs Denston
We choose Home Cottage as we wanted to complete the coast path between Portcurno and Mullion and have somewhere comfortable , peaceful and luxurious to return to every day after our walks. We had an initial problem with the hot tub making a dreadful noise. After some confusion as who was responsible for the issue to be rectified Classic Cottages notified hot tub maintenance and they arrived 2 days later. Problem solved! Just unfortunate that we couldnt use it at the start of our holiday. The cottage is extremely well equipped with utensils and crockery etc. The garden is a lovely area to sit and relax and watch beautiful sunsets.(although the grass was in desperate need of cutting) The local residents are very welcoming and helpful and the village is a 20 minute walk where there is a shop that stocks everything. Also a popular pub serving food. The weather was excellent so mission accomplished.

We were looking for seclusion and comfort where the dogs could be just as happy as us, and Home Cottage came up trumps. Very relaxing.
Mrs Yates
We had a wonderful stay at home cottage. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. Very comfy beds and great power showers. Great selection of kitchen equipment. We really enjoyed the area with walks from lands end to nanjizal , swimming at porthcurno beach, sculpture gardens at Tremenheere near gulval Penzance and a trip to mullion on the lizard. Lovely to return to a dip in the hot tub and a meal cooked up in the spacious kitchen. Also amazing sunsets. Many photos to remind us of our wonderful week.
