Mrs Browning

Cottage very comfortable and plenty big enough for us and our lab. Whilst close to all Penzance has to offer once back at the cottage it is very peaceful so you get the best of both worlds. Great for exploring Penzance, and walks to Marazion, Newlyn and Mousehole. Lovely penlee park in Penzance with the tea room having tables set amongst the trees outside was a favourite place of ours. We also took advantage of the close proximity of the train station and took the train to visit St Ives. Whilst parking is an issue at the house you can get a permit for £15 which covers you for 7 days parking whilst staying on a nearby car park.

Ms Mitchell

Comfortable and well equipped. Good location in quiet central street. Everything we needed from a base for the week. Penzance has some lovely buildings, shops and restaurants. Great walks to Marizion and Mousehole and convenient for train trips to St Ives, Truro and beyond.

Mrs Rymer

Very comfortable cottage, clean, warm and full of light. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Mr Wilsdon

A good stay, well located and very convenient, all facilities present and making a week of exploring SW Cornwall really easy.

Ms Benot

Super place, matches descriptions & photos... Quiet and cozy in winter weather.. the small fireplace kicks out a lot of heat, lovely supply of wood & kindling provided. (The central heating is really good as well) Kitchen is really well set up and even has a dishwasher! (not mentioned) there's a little utility room by the back door which is helpful for muddy boots or pet gear. Lovely owners & Classic team very responsive and helpful. Best place to stay if you want to be in central Penzance with a pet!

Ms Benot

Fabulous cottage.. everything you need & a great location. Cozy in winter. Owners and team at Classic super helpful.

Mr Sheffield

A great house very close to the centre of Penzance, which is full of interesting museums, gardens and shops, with all of the beaches, wildlife and archaeology of West Cornwall on your doorstep

Miss Poupard

A lovely place to stay on a quiet street, a short distance from the railway and bus station and main shopping streets. The house had everything we needed for a comfy stay, within an easy walk of everything in Penzance. Parking in the area was difficult but it was perfectly located for exploring by public transport (would recommend the Land's End Coaster bus, and the train to St Ives). We loved discovering some new places in Penzance too during our stay, including Roundhouse just a couple of mins walk away for excellent cakes and coffee!

Mrs Tosseyn

The house was very nice and cosy. It had everything you could possibly need. The house was perfectly clean. The location was great to explore Penzance. Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. 5 minutes to the seaside.

Mrs Wain

Overall we had a great stay in this house. The location is excellent. Parking can be tricky but we managed to park opposite the house and didn’t move the car all week, choosing to explore by foot or public transport which is plentiful and convenient. The house is spacious and well equipped and we found everything we needed for cooking meals. The complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch and it was great to find both cocktail and champagne glasses provided. The TV is too small for any serious watching so we didn’t bother using it. The stairs are steep and the step down the landing and up to the bathroom can be tricky to negotiate in the night, though there was a useful night light provided. The bathroom is well appointed and we enjoyed a soak in the huge tub, as well as the brilliant shower! We found the double bed a bit too small and the mattress a little too soft for our taste and comfort. A few tweaks to the property would make it a more luxurious stay but overall it is a cosy and comfortable house.

Description reflects the property

miss campbell

We had a lovely time, the location of the property was great and close to coastal walk, to some Beautiful beaches, st Michaels mount and jubilee pool. A quick train journey to st Ives was a lovely day out. The cottage had all we needed was clean and comfortable. if I have to leave any negatives all I could say is that I was missing a blanket on the sofa in the evenings, and the bins confused me. It's a lovely cottage to have stayed in.

Ms Gill

The location of this property was perfect for exploring Penzance and further afield. Parking was an issue so be prepared to leave your car away from you in nearby streets when you singing a space. The property had all the basics you need.
