In the heart of Mousehole and within walking distance from the bustling harbour, this stunning dog-friendly cottage is simply charming and offers a wonderful seaside escape. Potters Cottage is tucked away in a secluded spot (shared with two other cottages) reached via a little cobbled lane.

Elegantly furnished Potters Cottage is a gorgeous retreat, perfect for a family, two couples or an intimate love nest for two. Once an old Pilchard Press, it has recently been lovingly refurbished to offer a chic and cosy bolthole for five lucky guests. Two traditional granite steps lead down to the characterful stable-door and straight into the impressive open plan living area which is packed with features. Sink into the cosy sofas and instantly switch off from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to create those fabulous holiday breakfasts or lazy evening suppers. Plan your days out whilst gathering to enjoy delicious food; the stable-door can be opened wide on balmy summer evenings if you fancy a spot of al fresco dining in the sunshine.

Heading up the super-snug stairs you will find two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all furnished with wonderfully comfy beds, crisp white linens, heritage radiators, lovely throws and plentiful cushions - you are guaranteed a relaxing night's slumber at Potters Cottage. The contemporary family bathroom is also located on this floor, with a bath and fitted shower.

Outside the property there is a shared courtyard area, where you can enjoy a spot of lunch in the sunshine or a cocktail before heading into Mousehole for a bite to eat.

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.

Mrs Walton

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Mousehole. Lovely, comfortable property. This was our second stay and we'll definitely be booking again.

Ms Jones

We stayed in Potters Cottage mid Dec for 4 nights to come and see the xmas lights. We had the best 4 days. We walked into a lovely warm cottage, full of delightful character and treats. From the welcome tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates to the immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. We ate out at the Ship in and did lots of walks and swims and seeing old friends. I would hole heartedly recommend this cottage for its central location, character and warmth.

Mrs Atkinson

Excellent cottage in convenient location. Well appointed and cosy with tasteful decor. Everything well thought through and easy to operate.

Mrs Walton

Beautiful property in a superb location. The cottage was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A real home from home. We can't wait to stay again!

Mrs Malski-Darley

The location and decor of the property are great, although you are in close proximity to the neighbours across the courtyard. We unfortunately encountered several issues with the property during our stay but perhaps Classic Cottages have since remedied these for future guests. Either way, not much can ruin the magic and beauty of Mousehole.

Ms Templeman

We would come back to this property (if it were not so expensive for just two people)

Mrs Bentley

A great little cottage - warm and cosy in early March.

Mrs Marsh

Really lovely Cornish cottage. Well equipped kitchen, good quality utensils and kitchenware. Comfy sofas, beds and excellent bedding.

Mrs Freud

A lovely cottage - warm and inviting.

Mr Guy

Very comfortable, well maintained character cottage in a great central location and very close to the pub on the harbour.

Mrs Thipthorpe

Very comfortable little cottage, everything you could wish for if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday. Super little eating places and a great pub right on the front. Small safe beach for children to play on and swimming in the harbour is a "must" .

Ms Finburgh

Beautiful place to stay, so close to the gorgeous harbour and shops, perfect for our kids to come and go as they pleased, quiet and tucked away. Worth noting that parking is £5 per day at the harbour car parks, close by.

Mrs hewson

Fab location, really central with lovely places to eat within walking distance. Decorated and furnished to high standard.

Mrs Davies

Very well equipped and beautiful decorated. Excellent location to town centre.
