No 1 Polvellan

We had a lovely time, in a super, tasteful, clean and comfortable apartment. We were there for a big family celebration with our children and their spouses and renting this and Polvellan Heights together meant that we had plenty of space for us all. A very great location too with a rare (for Mousehole) parking space.

A wonderful property and location. Lovely walks nearby and good places to eat. Fully equipped and quality beds and bedding. Views spectacular. We were blessed with excellent weather which was the icing on the cake !

A beautifully equipped, clean and comfortable cottage in a prime location with fabulous sea views. Simply one of the best Classic Cottages properties we've ever stayed at, and I'm sure we'll visit again. We spent a lot of time on the large, sheltered and private verandah, often at mealtimes, as we were lucky with the weather. On those occasions when the weather was a little chilly, the small 'snug' was a favourite place to sit with a pair of binoculars. There are several high-quality eating establishments in Mousehole, to suit all tastes and budgets, and it's an easy jumping off point for the far South west of Cornwall. Parking can be an issue if you have more than one vehicle in your group - there's a paid car park opposite, in sight of the cottage, which had plenty of free spaces in April when we visited. It's a significant cost though - £77+ for a week and the on-site payments machines take cash only, no cards. Using the JustPark app is simple and efficient though - best to download it before you arrive. Roadside or harbour parking isn't particularly practicable though - they were often full.

Beautifully appointed property with quality and attention to detail evident throughout. Rain or shine, this property was perfect and who can resist such a view! We would all go back in a heartbeat and were loathed to leave. You couldn’t fail to notice and value all the personal touches too. If only all properties were of this standard!

We had a wonderful stay at Polvellan thank you ! We felt at home immediately . It had everything we need comfortable , lots of sunshine , beautiful art and a great view of the sea. Our son loves astronomy and we had clear night skies to view the stars , and rock pools were super . Mousehole’s restaurants and shops are a short stroll . We are loyal to Classic cottages properties .

Beautiful spot just a short walk away from Mousehole harbour. Really well equipped with beautiful views. Loved our stay and would recommend to anyone thinking about booking.

Beautiful accommodation with fabulous views accross the sea. A warm, comfortable and welcoming family space to return to after a day out. Fabulously well equipped kitchen. We loved the little room overlooking the sea, and passed many a happy hour bird and seal watching from there. All in all, we had a fabulous trip and would highly recommend.

We hired the house for a week. We loved the location, amazing views and all the facilities of Mousehall. The cottage is clean and so comfortable, is kitted out with everything you could ask for. Will definitely recommend and book again. Thank you for an amazing break ??

Superbly equipped kitchen. Excellent decorative order. Lovely open-planned lounge area. Comfortable beds. Easy access to the Penwith peninsula, Mousehole itself, its harbour, the restaurants and the SW coast path. Stunning views from the patio and the little nook at the front across Mounts Bay. Great for a quiet coffee and to watch the sunrise and sunset. A bonus is to have one car space outside the property. We were lucky with it being late September and we could find a space to park the second car close by for free but probably less likely in the summer.

A beautiful and very well-appointed apartment with lovely views across Mounts Bay which can be enjoyed inside and out. On-site parking makes life much easier and it’s proximity to Mousehole village centre means no arguments about who is driving when going out for a lovely meal.

No1 Polvellan is a beautiful property and in a super location with sea views, and an absolute bonus for Mousehole, a parking space! It has every comfort you could want for a holiday home from home. There are lovely spaces to sit and enjoy the views.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The pictures portray the property accurately and we were not disappointed. The kitchen, in particular, was very well equipped. The little snug area was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunrise, with binoculars provided to watch the seabirds and occasional seal on St Clement’s Isle. Whatever the weather, No 1 Polvellan is a great place to stay.

Fabulous! Fantastic location. Superbly equipped. Stylishly decorated. Comfy beds and bedding. Loved sitting on the terrace watching the sea, boats, and seals. Wonderful to be able to stroll 100yds to excellent pubs and cafes. Parking space and terrace are huge bonuses.
