The China Dolls House is a very, very clean and comfortable place to stay with everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. With a fantastic view from the lounge window it is an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by. With adequate parking space - for our XC60 - it is a bonus. Thank you for the Welcome pack.

Very restful, fantastic view of the Mount. John & Donna were very responsive to questions and very helpful. Dogs were well catered for with towel and drinking bowls. Equipment too was all modern and excellent even a air frier. The information booklet was up to date and very clear with excellent recommendations. We shall back!

Fabulous cottage. A great location, view and brilliantly equiped. Probably the first cottage I've ever staying in that had the kind of kitchen kit that you need if you actually cook! Lovely to have a bit of garden too.

Very well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view from lounge bay window across to St michael's mount. Excellent location for all amenities. Great communication with the owners who rang us beforehand to say cottage ready earlier than alloted time.

Great cottage in a great location with sea view, secure gardensa nd parking. . Everything you need provided. Owner was in touch with us and we were able to access the cottage earlier with a lovely cream tea provided for us when we arrive d. We highly recommend and hope to visit again soon

We loved China Dolls House. The views are gorgeous and the property is lovely. Location was great really. Buses regularly if you don't want to drive anywhere. And the local pub down the road were very welcoming.

Would like to add despite some negative reviews the parking is not difficult. It is a real treat to have private parking in a place like this and the parking space at this property is generous enough to park a camper van. It is suggested that vehicle back into the space this is because the road can get busy at times so it make sense to exit the space forward. Stone steps up to the terraced garden are a little steep and care should be taken. The cottage is reverse configuration with bedrooms on the ground floor and open plan living space on the first floor, offering the most fantastic views of Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount itself Easy access for the SW Coast path. Use the buses you can get to almost anywhere in Cornwall by bus from Penzance and the journeys are scenic as they go through the villages and excitement as you find your double decker negotiating some of the famous narrow roads and steep hills!

We had a lovely holiday at the China Dolls house. The kitchen was very well equipped with good quality saucepans etc - far better than anywhere else we have stayed which was great for when we ate in. The view of the sea and Mount is fabulous. We have a large car and found parking at an angle meant that it fitted in and the gates closed. We did some fabulous coastal walks with our dogs. They also loved the quiet local beaches and were welcome in all the local restaurants.

A delightful cottage with stunning sea views. The parking space is a little tight but we managed to get our CRV into it with a little maneuvering.

Beautiful property with exceptional views over mounts Bay, very comfortable for our family of 4 plus 2 dogs. Other reviews say parking is tight but we managed to park our 7 seat 4wd kia sorento with rear cargo rack perfectly fine.

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday at the China Dolls House. The location is absolutely second to none, Marazion is such a vibrant and busy little seaside town with so much to see and do. The garden is lovely with the most amazing views of the sea and beyond and it is very private and fully enclosed, our little dogs loved it, we'd drive in, close the gates, let them out of the car and they were straight up there! We had the most gorgeous sunny and warm weather during our stay and the bedrooms stayed lovely and cool, perfect for a good night's sleep! The showers were brilliant, better than we've got at home. The views of the sea from the lounge are breathtaking, we loved the comfy leather sofas, the kitchen is amazing, all mod cons and finished to a very high spec, the washer/drier is a great bonus and there's even a small washing line in the garden. The owners are lovely, they left us alone to enjoy our holiday, but are only a phone call away should you need them. Donna rang us on route to let us know we could get in earlier, which was very nice of her and much appreciated! Our lasting memories of the holiday will be - waving to people on the open top buses from the garden! And, of course, those awe inspiring views, they will stay with us forever. The China Dolls House is a very special and unique holiday home, we hope to be back there soon. A beautiful and very comfortable cottage in a perfect location with stunning views - sitting in the captain's window overlooking the Mount with a good book was a highlight of our stay. The parking is a huge bonus and, if tight, we had no problems using it (we found it easiest to back in). The owners Donna and John were also very kind and helpful throughout, responding to text queries immediately. As others have commented, the internal stairs are a bit steep (and open at the top) but quite manageable for all except our blind dog (we brought her gate with us), while the garden steps are perhaps only for the nimble - but the view over the bay is wonderful once you get up there! Highly recommended.

Our 3rd stay at China Dolls, 1st time since re modelled. The changes are fantastic, well thought out. It’s a very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. View great and parking space a real bonus. We will definitely stay here again and can highly recommend.

This is our second visit to this cottage. The improvements from last year make this a perfect wee cottage in a fabulous small town. Our teenage daughter loved her new bedroom and the kitchen upstairs was a brilliant. Great having the parking with the garden a real bonus. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. We’ll be back in the future.

Beautiful cottage in the most beautiful setting. Views from the cottage are just breathtaking. Everything you want and need in the cottage. Lovely cosy and homely. Garden fantastic for late night BBQs. 5 minute walk from st micheals mount beach and some lovely pubs and restaurants.

Beautiful property with stunning views and close to the town of Marazion. This is our second time staying at the China Dolls House and we absolutely love it! There is a bus stop just outside the property which was super convenient for going to Penzance when we wanted. And we spent every night watching the world go by through the gorgeous bay window. The bedrooms are super comfy and stayed lovely and cool during the heatwave so sleeping was easy. The showers and bath were perfect for our family and having dinner in the garden was perfect! Thank you so much for an amazing house to make our holiday perfect.

China Doll House was fabulous. This is our 4th year in a row in Marazion and we enjoyed this one the most. Yes we had great weather this year, but the house really helped us unwind and relax. The garden really helped us to appreciate the great views and weather. Donna and John were superb and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The two bathrooms were great(15 year old daughter loved hers). Kitchen was superb and the views from the beanbag at the window were enjoyed by all 3 of us and Belle the dog. Car parking spot was a great bonus. We can’t wait to come back.

A very comfortable cottage with magnificent views, well located to walk into the centre of Marazion and a safe garden for our dogs. This made for a very relaxing holiday.

We noticed that some guests had made comments regarding the size of the parking slot. We had a fairly large 4x4 and had no problems parking - reversing in, is the best option to get onto the road. We would happily stay in the China Dolls House again.

A great cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, no need to use car everyday. Very easy to relax soaking in the views. Easy walk into Marazion, & this early in the year pretty quiet. Although some businesses hadn’t yet opened. Thoroughly recommend, we would return.

As previous guests have mentioned the view from the lounge is magnificent. We thought the stone steps leading to the garden were hazardous, especially when wet and this should be included in the description. The location of the cottage is excellent, just a short walk into the lovely town of Marazion, however the cottage is on the very busy road running through the town and is extremely noisy all the time.

This is a very private property which we felt comfortable in right from the minute we stepped over the doorstep. So much so we booked it for next year 3 days into our holiday

We loved every second of staying in China Dolls House Cottage! The location was absolutely perfect, with beautiful views of the sea. The cottage was so comfortable, with plenty of furniture to accommodate all of us, and lovely cosy bedrooms and the most kitchen equipment I’ve ever seen! We hope to stay again soon

The stunning views and excellent location of the China Dolls House, the cottage was like home from home and included everything you need for a magical holiday. It really was a great base for exploring beautiful Cornwall. A very dog friendly village with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the China Dolls House. The house was as described on the 'Classic' website with a couple of updates to the accommodation not shown on the pictures (fencing on the upper garden so a lot safer for kids/dogs). Parking: I thought this could be an issue but our Volvo V90 fitted like a glove (just) and we were able to close the gates for security. A full sized Range Rover/Q7 or similar may struggle to get on the drive so bear this in mind when booking as alternative parking is very limited. The location is ideal for days out to St Ives, Lands End, Minnack etc. The owner communication was absolutely spot on. Really helpful and just added to a great stay. Overall, I cannot recommend the China Dolls House enough, so much so that we will hopefully see you next year!

A fabulous location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and St Michaels Mount. The bean bag in the bay window was a very popular spot to watch the world go by.

We absolutely love the china dolls house. We have stated here many times now. As soon as you enter you feel relaxed and at home. The views from the top lawn and the sitting room are second to none. The house is well equiped and feels like home. We hire cottages on a regular basis as do our families and we have yet to beat this cottage.

We had a very enjoyable stay in The Chine Dolls House. The cottage is in an excellent location within easy access of several beaches, pubs and the coast path. The views from the living room window and the garden are superb. Marazion itself offers easy access to many interesting places to visit such as Penzance and St Ives. The cottage contained everything we needed for our stay and was warm, cosy and inviting during our October stay. When we arrived the cottage was incredibly clean.

The views from the living room windows upstairs in the property are fantastic. You can see when it is possible to walk on the the causeway to St Michael's Mount from a window upstairs. The property is very well equipped and comfortable. The location is very good being a short walk into the centre of Marazion. It is easy to drive around the local area or catch a bus to places like Penzance. Plenty of local interest such as the seal sanctuary at Gweek, Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance. Also easy to get to St Ives. Pubs, shops and places to eat within a short walk.

A wonderful cottage, with fantastic sea views and of St Micheals Mount. The bay window was a source of fascination for Darcy and Coco watching the buses go past!

This is a very dog friendly property with a secure garden which made life so easy for us with the dogs and so good with the stair gate to keep them from running upstairs to the living room. We went to the beach every morning before 8 and after 7 every evening and the dogs loved it. The children also loved it and we had many bbqs in the garden enjoying the sea view as well as fish and chips on the beach only a few minutes walk away. Great for exploring the area. We loved it.

For info can park a Mazda 6 estate in the parking area but is tight. Not a problem for us however, thought you'd like to know for future reference/queries. It was a great stay.

Property was immaculate and spotlessly clean can't fault house or facilities. Liked the fact that the owner contacted us personally to make sure everything was ok on our arrival, and when we did have a problem he sorted very speedily. Loved the house and we had a lovely week but Marazion is really not disabled friendly which was disappointing. The locals residents have encouraged us to contact the local council to express our concerns which we will do. The dog friendly beach in front of China Doll House was fantastic (Accessed via steps down side street & passageway from the Copper Spoon cafe) most days we had the whole beach to ourselves absolute paradise. Sandbar Beach Bar at Praa Sands was also great in the evening for food and drink with dogs allowed in the bar/terrace and on the beach after 7pm

Suitable for a small active family in a wonderful location.

The China Dolls House is well-placed for the facilities in Marazion and lovely views to St Michael’s Mount from the bay window. However, parking would be a challenge for larger vehicles. Lovely area with plenty to see and do.

Stayed here for a week at Easter 2019. What a find. Excellent location, fantastic view. Also near a lovely pub where we ate four times! It was lovely not having to use the car each day. Went into the town every day and on the beach at least once, even in gale force winds and rain on the second day. Great to find such a lovely property that is dog friendly. Lovely to have complimentary tea tray and soaps. We hope to return next year. We absolutely love the area around Marazion.

The best accommodation, best location. Would love to visit in the winter......great views from the window and cosy rooms. Good to have the dogs catered for too - so important when you have family pets. Absolutely loved it !

Perfect view of St Michaels Mount. Lovely pubs nearby and the terrace at the Mount Haven Hotel is lovely.

Had a lovely stay at Dolls House. A comfortable house with excellent view of Michaels Mount and sea from lounge windows. A good base to explore beaches,towns,villages. Dogs were happy there and loved Porthkidney Kidney Beach and LongBeach both dog friendly beaches. Hopefully we will return

As a family we have holidayed in Cornwall for many years always in Marazion or Penzance, but we can honestly say that our stay in the China Dolls House was the best we'd ever had the place is beautiful and so relaxing. We would certainly recommend it to family & friends without the slightest hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the China Dolls House. It is well equipped, has a wonderful view and is in an excellent location. Having a parking was important for us although it might be a tight for a large car. We really appreciated that the owner contacted us shortly after our arrival and was very helpful and efficiently solved some minor problems we had. Marazion is a nice place and a good starting point to visit Cornwall. Merci !

The China Dolls House is a wonderful find. A very well equipped cosy cottage with a fabulous view, great parking and dog friendly. We have now enjoyed three lovely holidays there and would love to go back.

A delightful cottage, with a stunning view of St. Michael's Mount. So many fabulous places to visit nearby, St.Ives, Mousehole, The Minnack Theatre, The Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, St.Michael's Mount Castle and Gardens, Trengwaiton Gardens and the list goes on. Some excellent pub grub a few mins walk from the cottage. Beautiful coastal path and rural walks from your door, not to mention all of the yummy tea shops along the way including The Copper Spoon in Marazion,The Cabin at Paranuthnoe and The Rock Pool in Mousehole. We enjoyed every second, even when it rained.

In an excellent position and very comfortable. Has everything you would need whilst on holiday. Lovely view sitting in the garden enjoying either a cup of tea or glass of wine. One of the most relaxing properties we have stayed in. Would recommend to family and friends.

The cottage has fabulous views and we all enjoyed sitting in the window in the upstairs lounge. Private parking is a real bonus, as parking spaces are limited in Marazion. Marazion itself is a lovely place and a good base for sightseeing in the area.

Our second visit to The China Dolls House and we enjoyed every minute. The house is very well equipped and the view is superb! To find all this and dog friendly is great.

This was our third visit and we love the property. As walking the coast path, no plan for an imminent revisit but it will always remain on our 'love' list and we could well be back in the future - just for a rest :)

China Dolls House is a lovely cottage with all its amenities and very dog friendly. The enclosed garden was ideal for our two dogs and when we couldn't find them around the cottage we knew they were safe up in the garden. Views are absolutely fantastic from the lounge window. We also liked the close proximity to the town centre. We walked into Marazion several times.

We loved our holiday at Marazion. The China Doll House is lovely, fabulous location, beautiful views. Ideal for dogs. Close to shops, beaches, lovely walks. Would highly recommend.

A great cottage in a fantastic location! The kitchen is so well equipped, it's a pleasure to cook and prepare food there, and as the sitting room's upstairs, the view of the sea and mount is wonderful. Personally I spent a lot of time sitting in the bay window (with Hector our hound) looking out to sea, and across to the mount - just lovely!

This was our second visit to the dolls house, and we loved as much as our last visit, its just wonderful. From the comfort, to the view from the living room window and down to the town of Marazion itself. simply superb.

Beautiful cottage and grounds, outstanding sea views. The cottage was clean and well equipped to a high standard, very comfortable, we enjoyed every minute we was there. Missing getting up and looking at the sea views they was spectacular. Owner was very nice, he telephoned us on our arrival with a very warm welcome.

The cottage was spacious (even though the name could make you think otherwise), and homely (full of luxury). The location made it the perfect base to see the amazing local area, (and Marazion was also lovely and had everything you could want at hand - great shops and places to eat). The view from the lounge window was fantastic (you could spend hours just looking)............ We never thought we would want to stay in the same property twice, but we do!

This is a fantastic cottage very well equipped and in a prime location with parking. You can be looking out the window at the mount see the tide is out and within 30 minutes you can be walking around the mount. There is so much to see round this part of cornwall and is all easy access from this stunning property.

Quite simply a lovely comfortable cottage that's very well appointed with a breath-taking view from either the living room or the garden, we adored it and felt at home from the first minute to the last.

It is not often that you are able to find cottages with the high standards of comfort and facilities that the China Doll has to offer which are 'dog friendly' where you can feel completely at home. The added bonus of an enclosed garden with a parking area makes this an ideal property. The views from the bay widow across to St Michaels Mount are truly spectacular and make for a truly relaxing holiday.

A great location to visit The Lizard, Far West & parts of the North Coast of Cornwall (you can visit Lands End, The Lizard & St Ives easily within 20-30 minutes range), China Doll's House has stunning views across to St Michael's Mount, from both the dining/living room area and the garden. The house is very nicely set up and, once you get used to the slightly upside down layout, it's a really lovely setting. I'd heartily recommend the property for couples especially, as it is a very romantic setting, and I'm sure kinds would love the layout. The proximity of the road may be an issue for slightly fractious dogs but it really isn't too much of a problem. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Another bonus is three superstores (Sainsburys, Tescos & Morrisons) within 4 miles at Penzance/Lomg Rock...very useful... try China Doll's House for a really relaxing holiday with magnificent views and links to some wonderful areas in Cornwall.

Very impressive view from the bay window in the China Dolls House. I could sit and watch the waves and tide move in and out exposing the causeway to the regal St Michaels Mount. The house itself was so lovely, tastefully decorated and warm and cosy. So enjoyed my stay there.

It was lovely to arrive and find tea/coffee milk and sugar for us along with a packet of biscuits. Very nice touch and very welcome. We had a good holiday in this lovely property.

We were looking for a well-equipped property with a sea view, broadband, that accepted dogs, had off-street parking, and was close to a beach where you could exercise your dogs in September. The China Dolls House fulfilled all these requirements ... and more. We were extremely pleased with the property - and the efficient way we were dealt with by Classic Cottages - and would happily recommend it to others.

A fantastic place to stay - beautifully decorated and equipped with a stunning view of St Michael's Mount. Lovely sunny garden which gets the sun well into the evening for post excursion relaxing. We had a great holiday exploring the area - including Lands End, Porthlevan, Mousehole and St Ives (on the no 300 open top bus from Marazion Square - easy). Highly recommended.

Wonderful cottage - really well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent decor. Fantastic lounge/dining room with stunning views. Marazion is a superb place to have a holiday and we also enjoyed trips to Minack Theatre, Scilly Isles, Sennen Cove and Trengwainton Gardens (NT). Could have done with two weeks as plenty more to see and do!

Perfect location to walk to St Michaels Mount from the cottage. On the SW coastal path . Good local bus service into Penzance. Lovely coastal walk from cottage to The Victoria to Perranuthnoe - excellent food. Lovely en suite bathroom with excellent walk in shower. Baker in village does wonderful pasties.
