This is a perfect house for a stay in a charming village surrounded by beautiful countryside and nearby beaches.

Lovely cottage in excellent location for visiting nearby places of interest. We made use of the very good butchers and fishmongers in the village and also recommend both friendly pubs and the Garden Shop for eating out. We tried them all ! Beer was our favourite place that we visited

The property exceeded our expectations! It was spacious and had everything we needed. A great location to base ourselves to complete 4 days of hiking the Jurassic coast section of the SWCP. Contact with the owner Tanya was excellent and it was a pleasure to stay in the hosts holiday home.

This is an excellent property for a family holiday, there were six of us and a dog and yet we never felt a lack of space. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The cottage is clean, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard . The inner courtyard garden is especially useful when you have an escapologist dog like ours, we can have the French door open without worrying the dog has got out , yet again. There is parking for two cars on the driveway, this is very useful with children, especially when you have been to the beach. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area , or just local walks with the dog. We enjoyed a really lovely holiday there.

A second visit to this fabulous property and beautiful area of East Devon did not disappoint. We were blessed with glorious weather - unexpected which was even more of a treat. New places of interest were Powderham Castle, near Exeter and Forde Abbey, near Axminster - fascinating and so welcoming. We also loved the local walks from the cottage which are very accessible. Thank you again Tanya and Mike for choosing to share you beautiful slice of Devon - so looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury break from home.

Colyton makes a good base for exploring this part of east Devon and west Dorset and there are more shops and places to eat than you normally expect in a village that size. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped and although we didn't need them there would be plenty of activities to occupy children on days when the weather keeps you indoors. The personal touches make the cottage more like a home than standard holiday accommodation.

This was our second visit to the property. It is spacious, comfortably furnished and well situated. There is a variety of local shops and there are several places to eat in Colyton, however opening times can be a bit random so well worth checking. The church is well worth a visit too. The cottage is within easy reach of the sea via road or tram. Crealy Theme Park is not too far away and is great for youngsters. Grown ups also loved The Sooty Show and museum Axminster’s wildlife park is great too, especially when the snakes etc are brought out for a cuddle!

A spotlessly clean comfortable cottage, well placed for local amenities, yet quiet and private. The village has a good selection of shops and is on a bus route, which meant we could park the car and forget about having to drive for a few days. We had a most enjoyable stay and hope to return one day.

A very homely yet spacious cottage in a quiet location in a pretty village. Great local pub 100 yards away and other small shops close. Tram to Seaton a must and plenty of other local places to visit.

Excellent property, our family was comfortable and enjoyed the stay. Location was great for us since we were close to family in the area. We hired a 9 seater vehicle and were able to park it at the property without any problems. The property was well appointed and had many thoughtful touches. Since we were staying in peak season it was quite a lot of money and another time we would also look around to consider less expensive options.

No. 3 The Old Antique Centre was in a lovely quiet village with local shops, and pub. A short walk from the Seaton tram stop. Ideal for visiting places in the area. Gardens safe for my small dog.

3 The Antiques Centre in Colyton is a perfect property for the whole family including dogs - spacious , very comfortable beds and loved how well appointed the kitchen was. The area of East Devon near Seaton has such wonderful walks and everyone we met was so welcoming , stunning beaches , a place to relax and chill out and just enjoy being together - what more can you want from a family hoilday. Well found Tanya and Mike and thank you for sharing with us , woofs to Charlie.

This cottage is in an ideal location in Colyton which has everything to offer within walking distance and some lovely walks to enjoy directly from the door.

A second stay at this delightful property with our family and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. So very spacious and spotlessly clean - the owners have thought of absolutely everything to make their guests welcome and we loved the added extras .. so very thoughtful. We will definitely be returning for a third time - this is one of the best holiday cottages we've stayed in (and there have been many) it's just lovely. The location is really great too .. we would highly recommend it. Marks out of ten .... fifteen! :-)

We have enjoyed many holidays in this cottage, it always feels clean and welcoming as soon as you step inside. Colyton is a lovely, residential town with some handy , local shops if you run out of anything. There are lots of places to enjoy good food nearby, and lots to see and do no matter what age you are.

Really enjoyed our week despite the damp weather. Cottage is in a fantastic location. Is a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Really comfy with plenty of space. Anyone with an interest in trams or miniature railways is well catered for in this area! We really enjoyed the beaches at Seaton and Lyme Regis. Will definitely be back.

This is our second visit to no 3, very glad we returned, it was all we remembered and more. Colyton is a very good base to get around the area . We even managed to get as far as Cornwall and Wiltshire during our stay. It was my birthday during the holiday and Tanya and Mike had very kindly left some flowers from their garden and a card ,very thoughtful. We would love to return some time in the future and would highly recommend this beautiful home from home

No 3 is definitely going to be a favourite for our family going forward. It was a lovely Cottage in a great location. A home from home and we would have liked to have stay another week!

This is a very comfortable, clean and spacious cottage, and is very well equipped with thoughtful furnishings. The location is good as you don’t have to travel too far to explore the surrounding East Devon/Dorset places of interest.

Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a very comfortable holiday.ease of parking off road that gives peace of mind.The village has 2 pubs a lovely bakers ,fish and chip shop 2 shops and a small Bistro resturant and a garden centre.Easy access to the tram station for visits to Seaton without having to use the car.Short distances to Sidmouth ,Beer, Lyme regis.Dart farm shop is a great place to go if weather is bad.The cottage is very roomy and has every convenience you need .

We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Antique centre. It is a comfortable, spacious property which the owners have thoughtfully kitted out with everything we needed and more. The two courtyards are lovely sunny places to sit. Colyton itself is a great base from which to explore the area and it also has a fascinating history with many historic buildings and quaint streets to wander around. The Kingfisher pub does good meals with locally caught fish on the menu and the Tram Stop cafe is worth a visit. We also had a good meal at The Ship Inn at the pretty riverside village of Axmouth just a couple miles away.

We have stayed at No 3 The Old Antiques Centre several times, in our opinion it's the perfect holiday cottage, we absolutely love it, a home from home and very relaxing.

Stunning cottage. Huge, comfy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything you need can be found in the village and a great location if you want to explore a bit wider. Loved it.

Myself, my husband and my sister have just returned from a 4 night break at the cottage. The moment we walked in we all said Wow! The cottage was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was large and had everything we could possibly need. Being so close to the village was a big plus. We had a meal in the Kingfisher pub several times and the locals were so friendly, it was nice that they welcomed our dog too. We visited Sidmouth, The donkey Sanctuary, Beer, Lyme Regis, Seaton and would have gone further afield if we had the time. Hopefully we will visit again very soon. A lovely property that we would have been proud to call our own. We wanted for nothing. For us ideal in that it is on the edge of Colyton, ideal for that ‘first thing in the morning’ and ‘last thing at night’ dog walk. Pub just up the road was great, locals extremely friendly, with good food & beer!

We had a really lovely week at the Old Antiques centre. Touched lucky by getting to see the Colyton carnival on the Saturday evening. A real home from home with everything you need enjoy a sit down and a home cooked meal or the options of eating out in the local area. The local fish and chips were good and well priced and the local butcher can also be highly recommended if you want to prepare some of your own meals. There are places to sit out with a drink and a good book when you get the sun both front and back of the house. The beds were comfortable and a trip on the Tram to Seaton is a must. Simon G - Wirral

This is an extremely comfortable , clean and well equipped cottage with lots of space for a family so you never feel 'crowded'. It is very useful to have parking for two cars, especially when you have children and a dog . There are always lots of things to go in and out of cars !

In every respect 3 The Old Antiques Centre is a truly diamond property . The accommodation , furnishings and standard of cleanliness is unquestionably superlative. It’s location in the lovely village of Colyton is ideal with shops , pubs and other services readily available . We found the local people friendly and engaging and with the wonderful church bells on Sunday as a bonus we found our perfect place !!

We had a great time in no3 the old antiques centre. The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped. It's in a great location for visiting all that Devon and Dorset has to offer.Handy shops in the village, general store ,fish and chip shop and pizza parlour. The kingfisher pub is a must for Sunday lunch. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We finally made our return visit to No3 after being cancelled due to covid !!! We liked it again so much that we have booked to go back again, a superb holiday home, thank you.

Pleasantly surprised on how large the house was and how well equipped . Just about everything was catered for. Great shower and bathrooms although a bit snug when you are 6ft 4. Beautifully quiet and a great location with a welcoming local pub The Kingfisher and a great local butcher. More than we could have hoped for.

This is such a delightfully spacious cottage and if you go as a group of six there is so much space for everyone... it's quite amazing. Nothing has been left to chance either ... it's spotlessly clean, everything is quality, and you can really relax in this home from home because the owners have thought of everything! The cottage is lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with lots of books, games, DVD's and a comfy sofa! The kitchen is also really well equipped, a real home from home. The village of Colyton is really nice with everything in walking distance. A short drive to the coast of Beer and Sidmouth and the Tram ride from Colyton to Seaton is a must. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

We have stayed in this cottage six times now, so I think that says a lot. It is comfortable , clean and very well equipped . There is parking on site for two cars which is something to consider when you are holidaying with children and a dog .

Lovely spacious property situated in the quaint village of Colyton. We enjoyed the tram ride to Seaton, the Riverside walk in Colyton, a fossil walk at Lyme Regis, drinking a pint of beer at Beer and walks along the coast path. The cottage is in a quiet location but within a few minutes walk from pubs and local shops.

No 3 The Old Antiques Centre is a true gem , with everything you need for the most relaxing and comfortable stay. The minute you walk in you will feel at home. Perfect for visiting Devon and Dorset, you are spoilt for choice, and your four legged friends are always thoughtfully remembered. Simply one of the best.

Very spacious cottage and very large double rooms. The children loved the table tennis in the garage.

We have had our fifth (I think ) holiday in No 3 so that must say something. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and clean. The location suits us, and our grandchildren, who love shopping in Sidmouth and Lyme Regis , and the beach at Beer. We love browsing in the Vintage Shed and some of the other antique shops nearby.

We loved our holiday at Number 3 the old antiques centre. The house is large and comfortable and had everything that was needed for our stay. The garden was also safe for the dog. The village is great with local pubs and shops on the doorstep.

No 3 was exactly like staying at home, simply everything you could wish for was provided. One of our best Classic cottages, we will certainly return.

This holiday home is truly a home! What a stunning property, extremely cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic, especially as dog-owners we liked that we were in the country-side, but had amenities on the doorstep and were close to wonderful villages and tourist hotspots. Would definitely come back and book again!

This is a lovely clean and welcoming cottage. Ideally suited to families because it is so spacious. The parking for two cars is useful as well. The cottage is very well equipped , and there are lots of books and games for rainy evenings.

We have stayed in a lot of cottages and houses over the years but i think i can easily say that no. 3 is the best Well situated, very clean and enough room to hold a swinging cat (many in fact). Very well equipped kitchen and enough games, books, dvd's to suit all needs. Great eateries in the area and plenty of beaches to choose from. I would certainly recommend no. 3.

We have had a truly memorable holiday in Colyton and have found somewhere new to visit and explore every day around Dorset and Devon. The accommodation has been comfortable and very well equipped. We all felt at home and settled here as soon as we arrived. Even the dogs were happy!

Its beautiful clean, very well maintained, the village is so pretty with a lovely pub that that does great food . Friendly people and nice village shops.

My sister, brother and I were all very impressed by all the aspects of this accommodation - the best cottage/apartment any of us have stayed in.

The location suited us as although the house has no "views", the view of the church tower with its cockrell and bells was a hit with the children! It is well located for exploring the area.The space and layout on both floors is a real treat when there are 6 sharing the space. The property is immaculate with lots of welcoming touches.

A beautifully presented, immaculately kept holiday home that is very comfortable. A joy to be pet friendly too so our dear Rosie could enjoy a holiday with us. I refuse to stay anywhere worse than my own home which is a challenge. No worries here though! Congratulations to the wonderful housekeeper.

We've taken quite a few British cottage holidays over the last 15 years, this was the best equipped place we've stayed in. Everything we could've needed provided plus added extras like a good book selection, board games and DVDs! Just lovely. Spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage. Loved the extra touches as per earlier comment. Excellent location for exploring the East Devon/West Dorset coast and surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty!

We have had a lovely holiday, our oldest granddaughter (aged 71/2) says it has been " the best holiday ever ". There is so much to do in the area, from an afternoon in the 'Vintage Shed', and tea at Liddons Dairy to a wander around Beer or a trip to Lyme Regis.We took the walking tour of Colyton which was very interesting. The local shops are very convenient , and we enjoyed meals in the Kingfisher and the Wheelwrights Arms ( Colyford). Even the weather was kinder than we anticipated. All in all , a lovely house in a lovely location.

Perfect for a family of six, We had beautiful weather, but there was everything there if it had rained to amuse adults and teenagers. Excellent WiFi connection and great walks for the dog by the river and round the village. Loved the tram ride into Seaton. Easy access to Dorset and Devon.

Liked everything! Decor, furniture, bedrooms, bathrooms, cleanliness, towels. It really is a home from home, everything you'll need, you'll find there. Kids (and big kids) will love the games room set up in the garage. I loved reading my book on the peaceful patio by the front door, with the evening sun on my face with a beautiful view of the church too. It was a lovely touch finding a little welcome basket of a few teabags, coffee, sugar sachets etc, plus a pack of cookies and some milk in the fridge too! Whist we brought most things with us, we left the basket intact, but the cookies were great and the milk was very handy before we could get up to the shop (literally just up the road). I cannot praise the property enough. Please pass on my thanks to the owners for making this such a lovely place to stay. They have created this rental property with love and a great deal of care and attention to detail. The location makes it perfect for travel both East or West along the Devon/Dorset coastline (the A3052 and the main road A35). We travelled as far as Weymouth and Portland (both really good places to explore) to the East, and down as far as Dartmouth to the West (beautiful at sunset!!). We also visited Beer, Seaton, West Bay, Lyme Regis, Charmouth (I found a fossil!!), Branscombe, Budleigh Salterton, Totnes and Paignton.

Excellent property in a very convenient location with good local amenities. The house exceeded our expectations and easily accommodated 6 adults and a toddler. The house is extremely well equipped and was a real home from home.
