Ms Ward
We had a very relaxing week in this very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a lovely village. The log burner made for extremely relaxing autumn evenings. The village is lovely with a community shop that was so well stocked, and can order local fish, with prices as good or better than many supermarkets. Cottage provides best of both worlds with garden including visiting pheasant, fields at the back and views of hills but short walk to village shop and a pub. Lots to do in local area including Bicton Park Botanical Gardens, river and coast cruises via Stuart Line in Exmouth. We would love to return.
Mrs Birchall
Lovely cottage in a very attractive village which has a good community shop and dog-friendly pub. There is also the mill which has a cafe-restaurant, bakery, farm shop and gallery. A tray with tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh roses welcomed us and the cottage was spotlessly clean and warm. The walled garden is secure for dogs and is on three levels with steep steps up to the patio. We parked behind the gates to unload but mainly parked on the road at the front. There are plenty of walks from the door - head to Ladram Bay to join the coast path or follow the river by the mill. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Well equipped cottage in a small village which had a good pub, community shop and mill with cafe and farm shop. Excellent location for dog walks, check out the Pebblebed heaths.
Mrs Luther-Gandy
A lovely cottage in a friendly, village location within walking distance to a good pub and the working mill with crafts, farm shop and restaurant. Sunny, dog-friendly garden for relaxing. Great walks on the doorstep.
Mrs Gallagher
This cottage is in a fantastic location with shop and great pub within walking distance. Easy access to lovely walks. Cottage is beautiful, impeccably clean, lovely decoration and a very well equipped kitchen. This may be personal preference, but we found the seating and beds far too firm and the dining table was quite cramped. I don't think it could comfortably seat 4 adults.
Mr Dytham
Nice thatched character cottage. Road parking very limited and access to parking across narrow bridge difficult to access for larger cars. Kitchen table very small and would be challenging for 4 people to use together. Beds very comfortable. Village shop well stocked and nice meals available at the Otterton Mill.
Mrs Hannam
A good location in a period property, very good pub which is dog friendly and good access to walks. The heating in the house was not working properly so I would assume they would have sorted this out now. Recommend the estuary walk and have a look at the old mill.
