Owl's Nest Cottage

Owls Nest Cottage was in a perfect location, it was so beautifully quiet and unspoiled by light pollution, a perfect spot to view the last Beaver Moon. We received a warm welcome from the owners, who were found to be very knowledgeable of the area, giving advice as where to visit in the limited time we had available. The cottage was beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable, we will definitely return!

A charming, small cottage, very clean and has a fully equipped kitchen with everything provided for home comforts, including a dishwasher. The bedding is sumptuous. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The conservatory is a very useful space for dining and contains a sofa for relaxing. The garden is very beautiful and there is a patio available for guests to use. A very enjoyable experience sitting in the garden and listening to the birds singing.

Yet another wonderful relaxing stay. Alan and Belinda are fantastic hosts and gave us lots of information about places to go in the area. The garden was again looking lovely with all it's trees, bushes and wildlife. We had lovely weather to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the area.

Lovely cosy cottage and lots to do in the area

What can I say? A charming cottage set in a beautiful garden with lovely wildlife to watch from the conservatory especially whilst watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. The surrounding countryside was spectacular and was a pleasure to drive through. Belinda and Alan were very welcoming and we especially like the goodies they left us. The cottage was very well equipped and we were sorry when it was time to leave. We had a lovely relaxing time.

Very pleasant owner's, accommodation to a high standard including soft furnishings and a comfortable bed( didn't need my mattress topper!!) Peaceful and quiet, ideal for a short break or longer stay. Intend to return again.

A very good "cottage", which is a garage conversion with a nice conservatory. The location is ideal for being central in Dorset for visiting all the well known attractions.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. The furnishings and decor was tasteful and simple which was appreciated. As we enjoy cooking we were pleased that the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. It's a good base from which to explore Dorset and Somerset. Our dog enjoyed pottering in the garden and it was all fenced with gates so secure. Thank you.

Owls Nest Cottage is cosy escape away from it all. Great location with tons of lovely walks to explore. It is certainly a little nest of comfort and tranquility that we would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our week at Owls Nest. It was bijou but perfectly formed and extremely well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the peace and quiet of their garden was very relaxing. We would definitely book again if we were visiting the area.

We found the Owl's Nest to be a delightful retreat for two, yet well placed for the many attractions within the area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the cottage to others. Belinda should be proud of her creation !
