Quince Cottage
With the World Heritage Jurassic Coast within one mile's walk, Quince Cottage is a welcoming home in the pretty West Dorset village of Chideock. This charming home is the perfect location for a memorable family holiday - and your dogs are welcomed too!
There's a shop and two pubs only a few minutes' walk away and access to the Jurassic Coaster bus route (please check the website for seasonal running times) so you may decide to leave the car behind for a few days and explore by foot or bus. With the South West Coast Path close by and walks in the countryside all from the front door, you won't be short of places to discover.
The kitchen is well-equipped for holiday feasts and with access straight into the garden, al fresco dining is a lovely way to end the day. The sitting/dining-room, with its wood-burner, is a delightful spot to sit and plan your daily adventures. The first floor has three bedrooms; one king-size, one single and a twin and the family bathroom alongside. There is also the useful addition of a ground floor WC.
Quince Cottage has a private garden, with access to the garage (part of which is private, for the owners' use only). This space can be used to store bikes, hang up wetsuits and where you will also find the washing machine.

Mrs Tombs

Mrs Lander
Lovely cottage in a good location for walking local area and the South West Coastal Path.
Mrs Morris
A comfortable, well equipped house with an ideal enclosed garden for your dog.
Mr Chilcott
Beautiful cottage, well located for the beach and also Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis. Would definitely recommend, particularly to those with dogs, as the enclosed garden is superb, offers a real ‘home from home’ feel. Really nice welcoming touch with wine and chocolate treats, log burner was a wonderful bonus in January too, looking forward to a return visit!
Mr Brown
A very comfortable cottage, with room for a few minor improvements but overall a good space in a location that’s convenient for making the most of the area. We enjoyed our stay.
Mr Goodman
Quince Cottage is a comfortable, well appointed cottage with all the facilities that are needed including good wifi. It has a pleasant, small, enclosed garden which is good for the dog. There are extra facilities in the garage. It is tucked away behind a house facing onto the busy main road, so there is some noise from the road.
Mrs Jones
Quince cottage was an ideal base for our family holiday. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Dorset.
Ms Ashmead
Lovely cottage - warm, very comfortable & well equipped. Stayed here with our dogs and it was a great walk down to Seatown beach with them. Also appreciated having a secure garden at the cottage for them. Excellent customer service from Classic Cottage too.
Mrs Markwick
Be fit - enjoy!
Mr Rutter-Jerome
A warm, comfortable cottage in a very convenient location for coast and hills. Much quieter than proximity to A35 might indicate. Secure garden great for dogs. Good pubs and shop close by. Church bellringing early on Thursday evening was a charming extra.
Mr Willis
Nice cottage , very comfortable and well equipped. Great location for nearby walks.
Mr Livingston
An ideally located property for exploring this lovely part of Dorset. Warm, cosy and accommodating with the 2 village pubs within very easy walking distance! The beach too is only a 20 minute or so walk away - albeit - it is somewhat of a “hilly stroll!” The market town of Bridport with its antiques quarter is well worth a visit, as are West Bay and Lyme Regis. The regular bus service stops very close by in both directions, so you can leave the car on the drive if you wish! Definitely recommend! ???? Rob & Ann Alton/Hants. Stayed Nov 23.
