Bay Tree Cottage
Situated in a sleepy west Dorset village, just a short drive from the spectacular Jurassic Coast, you will find this pretty terraced cottage. Bay Tree Cottage offers all the delights and comforts of a modern holiday home in beautiful surroundings.
The open plan layout of the ground floor offers an excellent space in which to spend time in together and cooking up holiday meals in the kitchen will be a treat. When the sun is shining, open up the patio doors that lead to the peaceful outside area that is fully enclosed - perfect for children and dogs. There is also a conservatory that doubles up as a handy space for leaving wellies and coats after long walks in this unspoilt conservation area.
Heading upstairs there are three good-sized bedrooms, offering cosy retreats for tired eyes. There is a family bathroom and just off the twin bedroom, there is another shower and wash-basin. All three bedrooms have been thoughtfully finished with space for your holiday belongings.
Netherbury is a very pretty, quiet village enveloped by rolling countryside. Although this is a small village there are lots of places to explore, including a 12th Century church, glorious countryside walks and even a local vineyard, Furleigh Estate, where you can book tours and sample some sparkling wine. The market town of Beaminster is less than two miles away and boasts some excellent eateries, including The Ollerod and Brassica - both worth a visit!

Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed at this property.
Mrs Armstrong
Very nice comfortable house. It is very clean and well equipped. My only comment is about the location which was unsuitable for us as we are elderly. The weather was bad and walking from the house with our dog was difficult. The roads are narrow and quite busy.
Ms Bloomfield
This our second visit and we felt very happy to be back the minute we arrived after our long journey from Norfolk. The cottage was immaculate and looked just the same as last year. We were not aware of any deterioration or anything being of a lower standard in any way. The location is lovely and very convenient for everything we wanted to do in Dorset. The only negative was the driving wind and rain, but we coped with that and had books to read! Thank you to the owners for their good taste and for supplying everything guests might need. Also our thanks to whoever cleans and maintains the property. We hope to return. Judy, John & Banjo
Mr. Kidwell
Our cottage in Netherbury was picture perfect, comfortable (for our family of five), well equipped, and well situated. We enjoyed walking to the local pub, traversing the public footpath, and touring the local organic orchard. The cottage is situated within an easy drive to Bridport and the Jurassic Coast.
Mr Lee
We felt instantly at home the moment we walked through the door. Bay Tree Cottage has such a cosy feel, like staying in the home of an old friend rather than renting a 'holiday property'. The cottage provided us with a perfect base for seeing old friends and visiting some of our favourite haunts in the area. We especially enjoyed following the bridle path into Beaminster where we had a splendid lunch in the sunny courtyard at Cilla and Camilla. Sadly we could only stay for four nights on this occasion, but we'll definitely be returning for a longer holiday.

This was the most wonderful cottage, warm, comfortable and homely. What a peaceful place to stay. I couldn't fault anything. The housekeeper was very helpful with answering questions.

A lovely, well equipped cottage in a very pretty village. Within easy access of many places of interest. The Hare and Hounds local pub has a lovely garden, good food and a very friendly Landlord. All in all this cottage and its location scored top marks with us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Mr Booth
We absolutely loved the cottage. It was stunning home from home. The owners have decorated and furnished it to a very high standard. The location was too remote for us as a family but would stay again with just adults xx
Mrs Williams
The cottage is in an idyllic location with walks directly from the front door .It is extremely comfortable with everything that could possibly be needed for a comfortable stay .
Mrs Connolly
Really well equipped cottage. Very homely and relaxing. It felt as if the owners really cared about their guests. Lovely touches such as shower gel and soap everywhere and a lovely French style to the furnishings. The village is very quiet and pretty too. No local shop but that didn’t matter. Lovely little garden to the rear which has been beautifully planted.
Mrs Tonks
A place you feel at home in straight away Great for recharging the batteries.
Mrs Potter

Loved Bay Tree Cottage and location for us a perfect few days away, Would like to go back to the area and do some walking. We took my mother in law for her birthday, lovely that she is fit enough for the steps and stairs.
