The situation of this cottage is idyllic with an excellent garden and everything provided for the guest's convenience.

A lovely week in a wonderful peaceful location. The cottage was a real home from home being comfortable, well designed and tastefully furnished. The garden was totally secure for our dog and so a great space to which to relax. Great dog walks & a good pub nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very comfortable and very peaceful.

A compact but delightful holiday home in the most beautiful setting. Very peaceful, with the added bonus of a good village pub within walking distance. Unfortunately, we had a 21 hour power cut during our stay (due to high winds/rain) but the owners were extremely kind and helpful, providing us with flasks of hot water etc (from their gas hob). Wonderful coastal walks within very easy reach and plenty of good eating places which are very dog friendly.

Dirty cottage needs deep cleaning bed on slant feels like you sleeping on a hill to cluttered way to much furniture filthy windows dead fly's and spiders owners no were to be seen on the positive side lovely area nice garden and so peaceful

Small , well equipped cottage, but perfect for two people and two dogs! Beautiful garden to sit in the sun and the most wonderful views. Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent accommodation for a couple in beautiful surroundings

Badgers cottage is in a lovely location, very quiet and tranquil. The cottage was very comfortable and homely with lots of lovely details, including a large and comfy bed. The garden was large, secure and fabulous for our dogs. We used the cottage as a base to walk the coast path, it was an excellent location for this, and we were able to access all of the walks that we wanted to do. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely recommend Badgers Cottage.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area of countryside. Ideal for a couple with a dog, the garden is a nice size and secure. Fantastic spot for watching night skies on clear nights as very little artificial light around.

A cosy cottage for two, well equipped and comfortable with a large rear garden. It is well-situated for easy access to Bridport and to explore the surrounding area and further afield.

Badgers Cottage was perfect, we loved the peaceful location, the views and the secure garden for our dog. We appreciated the hugely comfortable bed and slept really well. It was great to have the log burner which kept us cosy in the evenings. Lucy and Charlie were very helpful yet unobtrusive. We’ll certainly return.

We had a happy, relaxed week in the cottage which is ideally situated for walking the south west coast path.

This was our second visit to Badgers Cottage, which speaks to its many qualities. The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed, the location is excellent with many great walks, and the view from the garden is superb. Highly recommended.

Lovely location for exploring that part of Dorset. Nice little cottage but need to be mindful that the property next door can have 6+ people so you could have children playing. I only mention this in case you are looking for pure peace and quiet.

This was our second visit to Badgers cottage and we had a lovely time, it’s in a great location, plenty of walking locally and some great local family run pubs close by. Ideally located for Bridport and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend either Badgers or Barn Owl cottages that are on the farm.

Super holiday with my family next door could not have been a more perfect set up to go on holiday with my extended family. The property was immaculate, high spec equipment, so comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely be looking to book again.

We wanted a cosy retreat and we weren't disappointed. Badgers Cottage was a delightful little bolthole to take a pause and recharge - and even the constant rain didn't dampen our spirits. The tea and biscuits when we arrived were most welcome! The cottage was clean, well appointed and, once we got the hang of it, the woodburner kept us toasty with lots of logs in the barn. The cottage had a lovely garden which would be ideal on a sunny day with fqantastic views. We enjoyed the local pub (the "across the fields" route perfect by day, less so by night!) and had some walks on the local paths so there's no need to go far away. The neighbouring sheep are very friendly, too! A few leaflets and maps of the local area would have been handy - and some games for rainy days would be a nice addition. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and have already recommended it to others. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Badgers Cottage. It had everything we needed and is in a beautiful area within easy reach of the Dorset coast, and lots of great places to eat. After busy days exploring, we appreciated the comfy bed and the private outside space.

Wonderful location, views in every direction. Superb garden. High end appliances. Only about three miles to Bridport, good supermarket. Happy place.

Badgers is the end cottage of three, with the middle cottage also let out. The owners live in the farmhouse opposite. There is also livery at the farm and they farm a few sheep, which had recent lambs. The lanes are quiet and the local pub can be seen across the valley. There are stalls to buy eggs and garlic and tomato plants within walking distance. Bridport is about 10 minutes drive away with markets on Saturday and Wednesday.

The location is wonderful, with great views across the valley. The cottage is small, but perfectly comfortable, warm and well-proportioned. We enjoyed our stay very much and have rebooked for next year...

This property was far more remote than we realised, but we made the best of it and enjoyed stay. With afew tweaks it could be alot more comfortable.There was a lack of information leaflets regarding places to visit , eat etc.

Comfortable and tasteful lily decorated cottage. Well located in village with 10 minute walk to very friendly pub and easy to access places and beaches on Jurassic coast. Recommend walk up Eggerdon Hill as great views across Dorset.

We had a very enjoyable 3 nights at Badgers Cottage, such a shame that was all that was available as we would have loved to stay longer. Beautiful location, comfortable cottage equipped to very high standards. Very large private garden with table and chairs. Will definitely return.

spotlessly clean ,large enclosed garden for our dog ,with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and hills , very peaceful . It was a shame that due to the pandemic we were unable to access the farm and woods but overall a very enjoyable stay .

A great rural location. A warm, cosy feel and ease of parking with good access to explore west Dorset. Dog friendly and safe.

This our second visit to Badgers this time for 2 wks and would love to return . The location and setting with the stunning countryside views and beautiful private garden makes this cottage special yet its only a short drive to lovely Bridport or the Dorset/Devon coast . Classic cottages surprised us by leaving a card ,chocolates and bottle of Prosecco for our 40 th wedding anniversary which we celebrated when were there ,thank you so much for going above and beyond .

Excellent kitchen equipment. Lovely bed, very wide and comfortable. Views while sitting in the garden were wonderful. Might be worth mentioning that the post code is either the very first or very last house in the village. That would have been very helpful.

Our stay at Badger Cottage was lovely. The cottage is charming and well appointed with fabulous views from every window. The wood burner kept us warm in the cooler evenings and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Really enjoyed our 1 week stay wished we had booked for longer . Cottage is ideal for two exactly as described in a wonderful peaceful location ideal to exploreDorset . The log burner was used daily as weather was chilly ( free logs throughout stay thank you ) really made it cosy and toasty . Owners live on site helpful friendly but not intrusive. Would love a return visit to Badgers cottage in the near future ,highly recommend.

It was okay

Badgers Cottage is a beautiful, comfortable cottage, perfectly situated on a quiet country lane with access to plenty of walks from the cottage or a short drive to the coast and other picturesque villages. We can't fault anything about our stay and hope to return again soon. Classic Cottages team were helpful with a telephone query prior to booking and the cottage was very easy to book.

A lovely relaxing place to stay

We had a really lovely stay- the property is beautiful and in a gorgeous location and all the interiors are very high quality (the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in!) It is located perfectly for trips along the east or west of Dorset and only 4 miles from Bridport and the supermarkets and amenities there. Highly recommended.

The cottage was more spacious than expected . It was very clean and comfortable . The kitchen area though small was very well equipped .

Beautiful, cosy cottage that is well cared for and lovingly decorated and furnished. We had a very comfortable few days at Badgers Cottage and loved the countryside views from the windows and visiting the fantastic coastline

Badger cottage is delightful and was perfect for my dog and I to enjoy Dorset.

Great location; the owners live in the nearby farmhouse and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They made us very welcome whilst not intruding. The spacious garden is a bonus in a property like this & the woodland walk was lovely. The quality of fittings & equipment was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at Badgers Cottage. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The cottage and the garden is completely safe for the dog. Our dog really enjoyed the owners woodland walk that is there for everyone to use .We loved all the different places we visited to numerous to mention. Dorset is really stunning place to visit. Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. It is beautifully decorating, everything you need provided for. The bed is so comfortable, we both slept very well. Askerswell is a beautiful little village, conveniently located about 4 miles to Bridport.

Very nice place with lots of places to visit nearby. The owners and their families very helpful and friendly.

Plenty of lovely walks including woods within the grounds.Many attractions close by and Bridport for shopping including a Waitrose. Not impressed with Hive Beach cafe despite other rave notices, the food was beach cafe style but the prices were very high for this quality. Spyways Inn was very good value in a dramatic location

This is a very nice property in an excellent location. There is no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area. Lovely walks, beaches and plenty of nice places to eat. Recommend waking up early and watching the sun rise on a clear morning . Stunning!

Wonderful comfy bed, the best sleep we have had for a long time. Lovely big shower cubicle although the bathroom is very small.

The location and views were fantastic, the garden was a great space for our daughter to run around and the animals were such a bonus! The cottage was well equipped, having laundry facilities was so helpful with a young toddler too. Such a great base in which to explore west Dorset from, beautiful countryside and wonderful, unspoilt beaches just 10 minutes away - we didn't want to leave!

Wonderfull hideaway for 2. Excellent location for exploring countryside and coast.

A little cottage everybody would want to stay, no need to take with you, Tea, Coffee,Sugar, Hand wash for the bathroom, Washing up liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tea towels, towels its all just waiting for you. We were made very welcome and recycling was explained to us, which was very helpful.

Although very small, this cottage is clean, comfortable and cosy. The wood burner is efficient, and we were able to take as many logs as we needed from the wood store. The owners are unintrusive, but helpful with any problems.

A fabulous cottage for two in an ideal location for exploring West Dorset. Well equipped. Lovely warm heating and water for cosy evenings in after a days walking.

Delightful setting and accommodation. Very pleasant owners who were available if needed but left us alone to enjoy the cottage and our holiday. Beautiful private garden which we and our dog loved. Great local pub serving wonderful food and beers within walking distance is of course always a bonus!! We will certainly be returning.
