This is a lovely cottage for a couple with stunning views from the first floor lounge. Welcome cream tea provided. Plenty of local walks and easy to get to Dartmoor National Park and or the coast.

Welcoming hosts to a delightful little cottage. Location was perfect, within easy access to A30. So peaceful. Strawberry fields farm shop does an excellent breakfast. Pubs and shop within easy walking distance. Would 100% recommend this cottage.

A cosy, well equipped cottage in a peaceful location. Everything you need for a relaxing break. A fabulous local farm shop on your doorstep too that sells the most amazing pies and cakes!

Our third stay at Leat Mill. A great location for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Two dog friendly hotels in Lifton - good for eating out. Strawberry Fields Farm Shop and Lifton Post Office are good for local supplies. Liskeard Station has good parking failities and an interesting little branch line to Looe. The main line has connections to other major towns.

The cottage was of a higher standard than we expected, and were highly satisfied, and found it spacious for two people. Very comfortable and clean, with beautiful views of gardens and countryside with silence except for an abundance of birds.

This one of the nicest holiday cottages we have ever stayed in! Excellent accomodation and lovely countryside views. The owners made us feel most welcome and we would certainly stay there again. It is also a very good location for touring round in Devon and Cronwall.

Very spacious for 2 plus 2 dogs. Cottage well equipped along with good quality microwave, oven and hob. Carpeted stairs was easy for dogs to go up to lounge. Quiet and relaxing location. Strawberry Fields farm cafe just outside the village has great food. Well placed to visit Bodmin, Dartmoor and North / South coasts. Thanks for thinking to provide the little items washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soaps and many little items that you need on a daily basis. It was much appreciated. We very much enjoyed the cream tea on arrival. A great stay!

Gorgeous cottage with plenty of room and light. Good welcome from the owners but not intrusive during the stay. Felt very comfortable staying, with the bonus of having a really good pub/restaurant within 10 minutes' walking distance (which welcomed our dog), plus an excellent farm shop and restaurant just up the road.

Our 2nd stay at Leat Mill, it's just wonderful, lovely views over the fields from the upstairs sitting room. Its village setting means there are a number of pubs and restaurants to eat out in and conveniently situated close to Dartmoor for walking and the surrounding coast for days on the beach or coastal walking. The owners are very welcoming. Cant wait to stay again.

We liked the spaciousness inside the cottage and also the cosy feel it had. It was well equipped, lacking in nothing. The location and view were spectacular with the added bonus of a variety of wildlife to watch, especially on the bird feeders. It was very peaceful too. We, and our dog appreciated the enclosed rear garden. A special touch was the cream tea presented nicely on a tray with teapot and cups ready and waiting. Much appreciated by us after our long journey.

Stunning cottage, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and so very peaceful. Lovely walks from the location taking in stunning views towards the moors. The owners make themselves readily available and are only too willing to help, whilst not imposing. The perfect place to relax and re-group.

Liz and Gerald were wonderful hosts - thoughtful, always there when we needed something but otherwise left us to enjoy the cottage and its surroundings in peace. They have created a cosy, comfortable, relaxing home from home with everything we needed to relax, unwind and enjoy the surrounding countryside with our dog, Toby. The location is simply stunning with views to enjoy in every direction and only a short walk out of the driveway to a bubbling stream or into the woods or fields. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great location within a short drive to the coast and the sites and sounds of both Devon and Cornwall.

Cosy cottage, first floor lounge has lovely views, pubs within walking distance and very good location for walks on Dartmoor.

If you like to see the stars at night and don’t often experience total silence then this is the place. Absolute isolation with no mobile phone signal and nothing but trees in every direction, really is the place to unwind for a few days. Furnishings are a little 90’s but it adds to the charm. Well worth a visit.

Leat Mill was yet another great classic cottage find! A beautiful setting and a really beautiful cottage. The owners were really helpful yet unobtrusive. A superb cream tea was waiting on our arrival - very welcome and Gerald supplied much needed help before we left repairing our slight car mishap do we could drive home safely! Definitely a cottage to recommend.

Leat Mill is the ideal cottage providing everything needed for a comfortable, enjoyable holiday. The standard of accommodation is high. The quiet location is lovely. This is our 4th visit to this location staying twice in Leat Mill and twice in Leat Mill Cottage opposite, which has the same owners, who are very helpful and friendly but do not intrude on the holiday. I am sure we will return.

Property is a credit to the owners. Set in lovely surroundings in a beautiful part of the country. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The perfect spot for walking relaxing! Not far to go for bigger towns and interesting venues. The local eateries are excellent and the locals very friendly.

Leat Mill is perfect for a holiday in Devon/ Cornwall. The cottage is first class, a real escape to the country. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating with providing local information re walks etc. If we were to ever return to UK in the future we would definitely stay at Leat Mill again. Beautiful cottage in a superb location.Very clean and well designed for every comfort.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and very homely. All equipment supplied so that you can eat in if you wish. Everything including washing machine, cooker microwave iron at your disposal. One major complaint - the holiday ended too quickly, so next year we shall be booking for two weeks!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location - just the spot if you love both Devon AND Cornwall - we spent an equal amount of time in both. For beauty and great views quite near - visit Dartmoor, Devon and Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac in Cornwall - stunning! :-)

The cottages just keep getting better, the standard is very high. Always in lovely locations with plenty of information on where to visit and where to eat.

This place is as good as it looks in the pictures. A pleasure to stay here. Great place to walk the dog from the doorstep also.

I have stayed in many places through Classic cottages and this rates as one of the best, it was clean , comfortable, well furnished and in a quiet but perfect location for both Devon and Cornwall. The owners were very welcoming and obviously go to a lot of trouble to keep it so spotless.

A very clean and comfortable cottage within easy walking distance of two dog friendly pubs. Central location offering relatively easy access to both Cornish coastlines. Would definitely stay again if holidaying in that area.

Leat Mill exceeded all our expectations. We had a fantastic week made even better by our stay at this cottage, which is set in the most picturesque of valleys surrounded by open fields and woodlands. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more, there's even a file of tourist info, which we found extremely useful. I can't recommend this cottage more highly. Book you won't be disappointed. 10/10 to Classic Cottages and 10/10 to Leat Mill.

We last visited Leat Mill 11 years ago - still as nice as ever!

This is the second time we have booked with Classic Cottages. They provided a first class service renting first class cottages. Tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and at reasonable prices. Another wonderful week in Devon. Thank you.

The property was fantastic. We stayed for a little over two weeks as we were moving to North Cornwall from Kent and had some issues and delays with the purchase of our new home. The Owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They went well beyond expectations in assisting us and were most generous. The location was perfect and our dogs loved the stay. Very peaceful and an absolute godsend during an otherwise stressful time.

We did not want for anything. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would highly recommend Leat Mill as a perfect base to explore Devon and Cornwall.

Leat Mill is an very comfortable cottage in a very beautiful location. The cottage felt very homely and all the furnishings and decor were excellent. It contributed to us having a very enjoyable week's holiday. We have booked cottages with Classic Cottages a number of times now and have never been disappointed, the cottages and locations have always been better than expectations and we will definitely use them again.

Leat Mill is an idyllically located and tranquil haven close to a great range of activities in both Devon and Cornwall. There is loads of info in the cottage if you are at all indecisive about what to do when you get there! It is a home away from home and contains everything you could possibly need so if you are feeling inactive you can stay in and enjoy the home comforts and look at the lovely views! The owners were very thoughtful - Liz welcomed us with a brief tour and a cream tea and Gerrard gave us fresh runner beans from his garden! A lovely place to stay!

Super get-away - will be back next year all being well.
