We had four nights in the Granary at end of August. The cottage was everything we wanted and was central to all locations we wanted to visit. Robin and Ellena great hosts there if we needed anything . Would highly recommend this cottage for a great peaceful getaway in a fantastic part of Devon.
Mrs Cooper
Lovely cottage full of character in beautiful gardens. Would definitely recommend.
Mrs Jones
The old Granary is in a lovely scenic peaceful and private setting and the hosts have thoughtfully made sure their guests have everything they need within the accommodation to enjoy their holiday. Leigh farm is also a great base to tour the surrounding area and lovely to return to at the end of the day.

Brilliant cottage. Attention to detail on every level. Just be aware the phone signal is patchy but perfect for me as it’s great to get away from screens! Lovely walks and available things to do i.e National Trust places, Bovey Tracy etc. definitely go back there
Ms Abraham
this is a wonderful little gem. we especially loved the little balcony overlooking the owners garden. great for our afternoon coffee. the log burner was on every night and very easy to light. the welcome cream tea was a nice touch especially after our journey to the cottage .
Miss Black
The Granary is set in a beautiful location - extremely quiet and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Covid precautions and information couldn't have been better and the cottage was exceptionally clean.
Miss Chappell
Kitchen was best equipped I've ever had. Gave us lovely cream tea on arrival. Really lovely hosts who helped us with anything we needed. Fabulous gardens and surroundings. Wonderful Bird life.
Mr Phillips
Lovely gardens.
Miss Barrett
Beautiful, peaceful place. I chose it because it was near my family - when I visit Devon, I usually stay with my parents but a self catering cottage seemed easier in these covid times. The granary is cosy and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. The alpaca are adorable. I plan on staying next time I visit my family.
Mrs Brandwood
We had a really wonderful stay at The Granary. The delicious cream tea on arrival set the tone for a very relaxing and enjoyable week in South Devon, and the cottage provided a perfect base for exploring Dartmoor and surrounding areas. The kitchen was also the best equipped we have ever stayed in; the owners have really thought of everything which made self-catering an absolute dream. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and very peaceful, with the occasional sheep bleating in the distance. I'd love to return some day!
Miss Fairhurst

The cottage is well equipped with everything needed and beautifully furnished. The friendly, caring and helpful owners welcomed me with cream tea and a lovely flower arrangement. Instructions are clear and comprehensive. I especially appreciated the "deck", a wonderful opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view of the beautiful garden.

The place is wonderful. The Cottage is very cosy and the garden is so beautiful. If you want peace, this is just the right place to stay. By the arrival we got a warm welcome from the owners with a nice bunch of flowers and home-made scones.
Mrs Bennett
We spent an idyllic, peaceful week at The Granary and were welcomed warmly on arrival by the Owners and their family. The property had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the property, grounds and location which was very convenient for visiting many of Devon's attractions. We will be returning.
Mrs Head
Perfect place to relax. Lots of places to visit and some very nice places to eat nearby. Owners went out of their way to help with directions etc.
Mrs Lloyd
After gorgeous online interior shots, the reality was rather dark, depressing and dissapointing, not helped by poor lighting and dated soft furnishings. A lovely building in lovely gardens, this cottage just needs a bit more TLC to bring it up to its rating. Good layout however and friendly helpful Owners on site. Absolutly no WiFi or phone signal and dodgy TV. We feel this cottage was expensive for what was provided.
Mr Bourke
Had a most pleasant holiday at a property that if it was a Hotel would be classed as five star , location and surroundings picture post card owners most pleasant and helpful all I can say a home from home with everything You could wish for ,to relax in the evenings in front of the log burner in the most comfortable lounge looking out over the beautiful gardens with the sound of the stream running through is something You must experience for Yourself cant wait for My next stay at this property Maura and Walter
Mrs Welch
