Good

Mr Jackson

Accommodation on one level, so good for elderly, though there is one step to beware. Very nice shower with enough space to have a plastic chair to help elderly bathe. Lovely quiet situation and shared garden. Great cheese and bread shops in Bovey Tracey! Handy for southern Dartmoor and Devon Riviera.

Mrs Powrie

Cottage- The Forge did not come up to our expecrtations.

Mrs Allwright

Beautiful cottage in a lovely area, with helpful owners and great facilities.

Mrs Channer

This was a perfect place for our family holiday. Beautiful area, very peaceful and safe for our children and dog. So many places to visit nearby - something for everyone. A very warm welcome from our hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Ms Berryman

The surroundings were lovely - so peaceful and the wildlife! So many birds. A deer strolled by the windows. The small stream outside our windows - so pretty. Could not fault the cleanliness of the place and after a long drive to be welcomed with scones/jam/clotted cream - what more could you ask for. Please visit - you don't know what you are missing.

Mrs Jackson

A lovely property for a completely peaceful escape surrounded by beautiful gardens lovingly tended by the owners. Plenty of privacy and outside space and not an un-natural sound to be heard!!!! The Forge was perfect for our party this time which included a fragile 97 year old parent (who totally loved her stay). Convenient for visiting Dartmoor and the coast. Mr and Mrs Jamie were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Mrs Gunner

Comfortable and cosy cottage. Friendly owners.

Mrs Teare

Excellent property and amenities but shame the WiFi was so very poor. You could only pick it up outside the property which is not ideal for planning days out, especially if it is raining!.

Mrs Mann

What a lovely place for a holiday. The Forge was a cosy cottage to come back to. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely place for sitting and enjoying the surroundings. The surrounding fields afford lovely views across the valley. We hope to come back to enjoy this gorgeous part of Devon again. Highly recommended.

Ms Morris

More about the beautiful grounds and garden and the space for taking walks. Unfortunate the Forge is not very photogenic from the outside.

Mr Syrett

It is such a lovely place central for everything

Mr Skelton

This is the second time we have stayed at the Forge in Leigh Farm. It really is a very cosy holiday cottage in a wonderful and peaceful location. It would be hard to find a more relaxing location. The complete farm complex is a real "Gem" and is owned and managed an extremely nice couple.

Mr Skelton

If you want a superb base to explore South Devon and completely unwind and relax, Leigh Farm is the spot ! It's a lovely, cosy and quiet location with a great local pub (The Palk Arms) just up the hill in Hennock and is close to Dartmoor and the coast with all it's attractions. The description on the website is spot on and it's just a lovely place to stay. The owners have done a great job in developing the the farm so far and we wish them the very best of luck in the future. We have told all our family and friends here in Norway (were we live) about how lucky we were to find such a wonderful holiday cottage and we look forward to booking again with Classic Cottages when we next visit South Devon.

Mrs Lockley

A little piece of heaven on earth so tranquil

Mr Haslam

Lovely welcoming cottage and hosts. The cream tea on arrival was very welcome. Perfect base for exploring the beaches of Torbay and beyond, whilst being handy for the M5.

Mrs West

It is a nice, little cottage which is extremely comfortable and welcoming. Lovely to be able to walk around the farm and climb the hills on the property. Just a gorgeous place to relax in but also near enough to visit Dartmoor and its surrounding areas.

Mr Westwood

we booked both cottages one for our son and grandchildren and the Forge for my daughter and ourselves, when we arrived it was very inviting to say the least , wood burner going in both cottages and TV on and very warm cosy, The highlight was a christmas tree set up for us and very decorations around both cottages ,really nice idea to do for us which made the christmas holiday exciting , very enjoyable time in the Cob and the Forge, we had dinners in the forge together which sat 8 people which excellent.

Miss Watson

Friendly greeting, could ask any questions. Clean Lovely decor Perfect location for tranquility, amenities and surrounding activities

Mrs Owen

A wonderful cosy cottage which we were able to relax & unwind in after a fabulous day out discovering all that the local area has to offer. We are already talking about our return.

Mrs Kozicky

Our group of ten stayed at both the Cobb and the Forge for seven nights. Both were very nice and provided everything we needed. The forge was bright and pleasant with high ceilings and morning sun. The rooms were warm and cozy. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed a wonderful vacation and were able to explore much of the surrounding area during our stay.

Dr Veenhuizen

It was only for 3 days that we stayed at the forge but it took all the stress of our daily lives away in only a few moments. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Beautyfull countryside and near to places where the action is taking place. A big yes for me. Ronald Veenhuizen, Utrecht, The Netherlands
