Little Sparrows
Welcome to Little Sparrows, a sweet, single-storey getaway nestled in the lovely, welcoming village of Ipplepen - ideal for a couple or a small family looking to explore the delights of south Devon.
Little Sparrows has been thoughtfully decorated by the owners, with a fully equipped pastel-blue kitchen, ideal for rustling up meals and preparing a freshly brewed coffee. The kitchen leads through to the lovely, light-filled dining-area which looks out over the sunny garden. Head into the cosy sitting-room, which is just perfect for those relaxing evenings in. With two snug sofas and a gorgeous olive armchair, pour a glass of something chilled and spend an evening enjoying some well-deserved time to unwind.
The two bedrooms are lovely. Bedroom one is a beautifully decorated double room and the second is a pretty single room, which also offers a fourth sleeping option on request (in the form of a second single bed configuration) - both peaceful places to enjoy an undisturbed slumber after a day of exploring. The loo and bathroom are in separate rooms next door to each other - meaning no queues whilst you enjoy a leisurely soak!
Outside, you're sure to spend plenty of time in the delightful garden in the warmer months. Full of colour during spring and summer, this is a lovely spot for leisurely breakfasts or simple suppers in the outdoor dining area. You'll also find a cute table and chairs at the front of the cottage, perfect for catching the morning sun with a cup of coffee as you admire the beautiful blooms.

Mrs Bedingham
The bungalow was extremely well equipped in a pleasant location. The village of Ipplepen was very nice and friendly and there was a very handy Co-op within walking distance. There were lots of things to do nearby. We particularly enjoyed visiting Brixham harbour, we enjoyed a boat trip on a paddle steamer at Dartmouth and we went on the South Devon steam train from Totnes to Buckfast Abbey.

A lovely well maintained bungalow and garden. Only two bedrooms but it was light and spacious and very well and thoughtfully equipped . It is on a small estate, but I found it quiet and ideally located for exploring the area by car.Had to take my dog and walking on the lead was fine ,but 20 minutes to the nearest area on the roads to an open space. Five minute walk to the nearest shop- owners have left useful shortcut which was much appreciated . Pub a minute away from there. Parking at the property was difficult unfortunately-the drive and gate posts are too narrow for the size of cars currently made. I drive the smallest Peugeot and all the alarms were blaring as I parked so after that l decided to park on the road .This was also difficult because someone was parking right up to the edge of the drive which of course was not helping parking in the drive either.!
Mrs Mayes
Our second time staying at this cottage and we had a brilliant time - it really is a little bolt hole that is perfect to just get away from it all and relax. The location is perfect situated in between Dartmoor and Dartmouth.

“Little Sparrows” is a little gem, very cosy, comfortable and very clean. Everything needed for a holiday stay was there. Thoughtful little welcome pack of milk, biscuits, flowers and welcome card.
Having recently bought our Mazda CX30, my husband was delighted he could park it on the drive although it was a bit tight through the gates.
Nestling in the village of Ipplepen, “Little Sparrows” was well positioned for trips out.
We would certainly book again.
Ms Weddell
Very comfortable and well equipped property in a village with a good pub and shop. Well positioned for visiting Torbay and Dartmoor.

Watch out for the inner front door, which can slam shut leaving you locked out!

Little Sparrows.
A light and airy bungalow in a quiet village. Very well equiped kitchen and comfy beds.
There was a musty smell upon arrival but this soon disappeared.
Unfortunately there are no curtains at this property, wooden blinds were at some windows which lit up the main bedroom at sunrise. The lounge (rear french doors) and kitchen had no blinds or curtains and left us feeling vulnerable as the rear of the property was overlooked.
All in all a lovely, comfortable bungalow but it lacks basic privacy.
Mrs Mayes
This is a lovely comfortable and cosy holiday cottage. It is perfectly located between the coast and the Devon moors so there is plenty to do in all directions. It is very well equipped with everything you could need for a stay.
Mr Claridge

Mrs Basham

Looks rural but was actually on a quiet housing estate.
Mrs Francis
A perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of South Devon. Nice to be able to walk to the pub. Very well-stocked Co-op. A lovely house to come back to after a hard day's sightseeing.
Mr Hunt
You need a small to medium car to be able to park on the drive, otherwise you park on a narrow road outside the property. We found the musty smell inside the bungalow overpowering and it had permeated all the furnishings, which need updating. My wife was so upset on the first day that she was in tears and wanted to go home. As it was we left 3 days early of our 2 week stay because we couldn't stand the smell any longer.

Little sparrows us a nice bungalow, well equipped. Village is very quiet , good to relax . I missed a local coffee shop
Mrs Daniels
the only shame we parked on the road as we could not get my mondeo through the gates
it felt a little awkward packing the car while children and adults where taking the children to school.
the pavements were not very wide.
the beds were lovely and comfortable lovely bed linen
